Everyone says that I deserve better
When they say that, my face couldn’t be wetter
I haven’t met a single girl like you
That had me wanting to say I do
I miss you more than I can bare
When I see you, I wish I could stop and stare

Or even greet me with a simple call
A text would make me feel so nice
A simple “hey” would suffice
My family says I shouldn’t speak to you
But letting go is the last thing I want to do

And now my emotions are a monsoon
That control my mind and my heart
Why cant we just go to the start
And pretend as if I never knew
That I’d find love that’s so true
And wed fall in love all over again
And be together until the very end.
