The End of My Time

Life is so strange, so many ups and downs, things constantly going on in my head, like a
never ending merry go round.
But nothing is merry, just dark and so cold, goosebumps on my body, so uncontrolled.

I once was so happy, that time is now gone, I no longer know, how long i can go on.
These thoughts that possess me, no peace in my brain, eating me up, life's such a strain.
They all thought they knew me, he's this or he's that, judging and pointing or turning
their backs.

I tried to fight, I tried to do things right, but these demons inside have now taken my light.
unable to sleep, unable to eat hidden away under my sheets.

Those hopes and those dreams that once used to be, now forgotten forever, a distant memory.
The shadows are near me, i'm scared and alone, how long can I run, my strength is now gone.

The moment is near now, long gone is the fear, their coming to take me, there can be no tears.
I try not to cry or ask myself why, accept my fate, as I await.

I feel them come closer, a shudder down my spine their now here to take me its the end of
my time.
