Where did your heart go did you leave it in the rain

Where did your heart go did you leave it in the rain

Drowned forgotten bloated and with wrenching pain.

Lost from the sun living in the shadows wake

Time doesn't exist their lost love is the biggest mistake

Living on a memory never causing a stir

Searching for your heart catching a glimpse and loneliest blur

New love surrounds you to eclipse the blackest night

But you search onward always toward the forbidden light

Death comes for you and steals your once vibrant face

The mirror cannot reflect this soulless desolate place

Will you ever find it oh where can your heart be

Stuck in the tree of life with an arrow for all to see

With no life or love will you ever have another gain

Where did your heart go don't ever leave it in the rain
