Acceptance
So you hang out with gay people
And now you are gay.
I'm sorry, mom..
It did not happen that way.
I know its hard,
For you to understand..
But please, if you can
Try as hard as you can..

I could never tell dad..
But would it really
Be all that bad?

And i wish u could too
Not just the parts of me
that u can pick and choose...
I guess its all or nothing,
And that's up to u..
But before u decide..

That brought so much joy to your life..
Why should that change
Because I would prefer a wife?
You can do the denial thing
as I know that u will..
but just to remind u..
I will be gay still.
