Moving Forward
Why is it no matter how happy and how far ive come my mind always lingers on the thoughts of you....
I always believed that one day I'd forget you.
Forget me and you.
But I'm stumbling.
Falling.
Failing.
Once upon a time you loved me and I loved you back.
Tell me who we are now.
Not the same.
But bound by the memories of what once was.
I can no longer say that I love you.
Sadly I still love the memory of you.
You're not the one I first met.
The one who swept me off my feet.
You're now the one who took the world from me and laughed.
But still I can't help looking back.
Time lapses and we move forward.
But will we ever completely move on.
I'm afraid to say the truth is it'll never happen...
