The Lost Girl

the lost girl
by Rebeca Hurst

the girl she sits in corner she is very quite no one knows what happens at home. no one
seems to ask or care. the girl inside me is very quite and scared. no one will take the
time to get to know her. she is trying to get the help she needs but no one will talk to
her or give her the time of day, No one know what i hide under the pants and long sleeve
shirts. no one knows what thoughts are running threw my head. people act like she is not
there. that she is invisible that she was never born they say mean stuff to her and hit
and kick her. then they wonder what happened to her when she doesn't show up for school
for days and weeks at a time. then she shows up for school its the same thing over and
over again. Her old friends wont have anything to do with her , they just turned there
back on her like she is not real. Then stuff at home gets so bad that she runs away far far
away. then they finally find her in the corner of a building on street with a knife in
her hand before anyone knew she was not in her room it was to late when someone found her
she had already took her life. because no one would give the silent shy girl a chance.she
was just a lost soul everyone said that she did the stuff attention but no she didn't do
for it for attention did it to release the pain that builds up inside from time time. if
one person just talked to her she would still be alive and not had taken her live.
