Soul Deep
Soul deep pain
washes through -
smoke and mirrors
obscure my view.
Heartache guides me -
cold, silent, strong.
I bleed with shadows;
his ghost’s swan song.
It breaks me open.
I live the pain.
I feel nothing.
I start again.
Skies now clear -
a panoramic view.
The ache that broke me
has seen me through
My heart now glows
gold-lit with love .
I feel soul truths
from the sky above.
A destined soul storm,
a soul-deep, dark crash.
This soul’s journey
transcends at last.
