Someday
Maybe someday we shall meet again,
Under the sun ,below the stars, or in rain
We would stand without questions and answers wouldn't be needed;
Someday we'll face each other without any guilt of having cheated.
Maybe that day we would look into each others eyes again,
When we meet, under the sun, below the stars, or in rain.
My poems might cease to have resemblance with you someday;
With a handshake or a formal hug ,we would walk away.
Wounds would have healed and cheeks would be dry;
We'll tell our story someday,and yet not cry.
Maybe someday you'd smile at me and my heart won't skip a beat;
I'd be facing you and still could feel the ground under my feet.
Sounds surreal as it might today,
But maybe we would be 'just friends' someday.
