Butterfly

Today, I woke as a beautiful butterfly.
Completely transformed from the creature before.
I slowly hid from my surroundings.
Now I can fly from one place to the next place.

The transformation process took ages.
To look like this, it was worth it in the end.
The metamorphosis from that thing to this beauty.
The eyes under the wings that make predators aware.

The face that shows everyone who I have become.
Showing the world that no one can keep this fighter hidden.
It took years to show the world the new me, the true me.
I am going to tell anyone that wants to listen to my roar.

My legs have changed, and my wings are in full bloom.
The color purple everywhere across my body and wings.
Going over fields and through many towns and cities.
I, the most beautiful butterfly this world has ever created.
