I’m my own worst critic
All the negativity in my head
The thought of not being good enough
Leaves me restless in bed
I do not want to have regret
Of a life I didn’t live
The dreams I never chased
The love I didn’t give
I think I would be much happier
Leaving my comfort zone
Traveling somewhere new
Taking a step in the unknown
I want to live a life of adventure
Instead of being trapped in my cage
I don’t want to be behind the curtain
I want to be center stage
I will stand courageous
Even when I have fear
If I don’t try in my life
I will only remain here
