Hollow
My body may be a temple, but I haven't taken very good care of this temple
There are no flowers laid out in front of the altar
I have not swept up the crumbled ash from incense
The candles have all burned down
The wax trails down to the floor

My hair hasn't been washed in a week
My eyes are dark from exhaustion
Every single movement takes too much energy
Who knows when I'll get dressed

I don't eat much anymore
I say it's because I'm not hungry
They don't know that it's a lie
Or maybe they do

My eyes aren't the honey brown they once were
Now, they're lifeless and dull
Like a dead leaf in autumn
