Your Face

I used to ask myself
What your face would look like?
if I just would know your image
How would your appearance be?
Your face intrigued me.

Now, I found it out
with the feather touch of my lips
I trace it with my fingertips.

Now, I have your face in my hands,
the face of my beloved.
I caress it from my memories
although you are not with me.

Now, your face is my soul.
