IT TAKES TWO
We have been together since the 24th of October
we had our ups and downs like the times I said its over.
He would make a mistake, thinking its too late
yet we still together, dealt by the hands of fate.
Just like his mistakes I made a lot of bad judgement
through it all I still wanted him, I would always drop a hint.
Looking back at the drama we both wanted to quit
I knew my baby loved me though he was always lit.
We both had problems, so we helped each other out
no matter what, love conquered, that's what its all about.
We had disagreements with the right and the wrong
it never even mattered, cause together we belong.
When we're apart nothing in the world is right
but together forever, he's my center, he's my light.
Without him I'm heartless, with him I'm under control
he's the love of my life, he's what keeps me whole.
Daddy ain't perfect, but he keeps me happy
he love me no matter what, even when my head nappy.
We got haters, we got talkers that consistently lie
but before I give him up I'd be will'n to die.
I get really angry knowing we were both wrong
to bring us back together took us both all along.
