Into the Territory Unknown

Into the territory unknown today I travel,
I don’t know what, in future, it will unravel.
Walked I have, a path, which is unique and lesser-known,
But this is where I find my comfort zone.
In future what is, known is only to God,
Feeling what I am, maybe a little odd.
Free soul, I want to be,
The whole world, in this life, I want to see.
Away from shackles of the universe, we know,
Into a world of my own, I feel I can grow.
Want to see your face, every day I am awake,
Disown I will, this world, for your sake.
Stay in my world, wherever I go,
My true worth, I feel, you only know.
Travelling today, into this territory, which I know isn’t mine,
I still want, the face of yours, in front of me, should always shine.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Hi Amit, & thanX for a "THINKiNG poem." I like it a lot, despite one big question. You seek freedoms, maybe to travel, but CULTURE demands DUTY (Swadharma) from U. So u say, "Into a world of my own, I feel I can grow. Want to see your face, every day I am awake," maybe God's FACE or the Beloved. I say "UNIVERSE is the physical & cosmic body of God, & I don't curse it, or run from it. In India it is Trimurthi: usually Vishnu's body, but Brahma's or Siva's, too. Om Tat Sath.
