Love Forever

Love forever ??

She couldn't believe her eyes,
staring at the little present in her hand,
she mumbled a silent prayer,
and smiled through her tears.
There she was,
her little baby girl,
cuddled in her arms,
the loveliest sight ever.
With her tiny hands and feet,
the cute round face,
and the perfect ears and nose,
proud she was to have made a perfect baby.
Her little girl's first step,
She at the other end,
and the fluffy girl clinging on to the wall,
took her first step seeing her mom approaching.
A chance to relive those old days,
just in another role,
she couldn't stop thinking of the days,
when she was the 2 year old running around...
Her girl's achievements,
brought a smile on her face,
during her failures,
she was her confidence booster.
With years passing,
she realised several things,
she realised her mother's love,
her anger and her presence in life.
At 2,
her wails sounded sweet.
At 5,
"Best mom" was her biggest achievement.
At 10,
"I love you mom" made her life perfect.
At 15,
those silly fights made her nostalgic.
At 25,
"Missing your food ma",she knew she learned cooking.
At 35,
the frequent phone calls, she was still her baby.
They were more like friends,
life bestowed her with the biggest gift,
A daughter -who taught her several things,
a person she could confide in,
a friend for a lifetime.
