Love Letter
Sweet words of love surround me
and echo through this room,
Though distance can't erase them
it ended all to soon.
As my fingers trace your nearness
caress the blue penned lines,
Someday we'll be together
for in my heart your mine.
But time shifts oh so slowly
like tiny grains of sand,
Through the hourglass of memory
i hold here in my hand.
