Love To Hate

We tell people
To love not hate
but what happens 
When people love to hate
Love to bring people down
They say you can have 
An addiction to love
Can you have one to hate
Getting high on the backstabbing
The hurtful world
For if that is true 
It seems a sad fate
To only know love
As hate
