My Version of Life

Life is a path that I've walked for 18 years
On my path you can find happiness, anger, and even some tears
Many times it got dark but I eventually found the light
And there have been times that my parents were actually right
Life is to short is something people always say
But I didn't learn at lesson until my grandfather passed away
Don't take life for granted cause tomorrow is not promised
I know when I leave this earth there will be people that I will miss
Being a human I know life is not very kind
But like has another familiar name known as TIME
