I Sit and Think Why Me

He's hitting on me
showing me
he do not love me
his hands are in a ball
like he's in a gym
punching on a punching bag
is that what he see
when he sees me
his eyes are in a slanted form
his eye brows are slanted too
what is the anger he holds inside
as i sit and think
why me?
why do i love this man
who puts his hands on me
who shows me no love
why is he hitting on me
beating on me
instead of
kissing me
making love to me
why don't he show me that he cares
instead
he want to pull my hair
put scares on my face
rings around my neck
a hole in my heart
but as i say in my mind
i love this man
but i be a damn fool if i
stay with this man.
