Wishful Thinkin

I'm sorry for leaving you the way I did
I'm sorry that we won't get to have our kid
The one we were planning on naming Jaden
Look at me sitting here wishful thinkin
Thinkin 'bout how much I miss you now
And wondering how I let it all fall down
Hating life and still loving you
All confused and don't know what to do
Constantly longing to hear your voice
Pondering if maybe I do have a choice
But no wait...that can't be
Not after chasing what I thought was for me
With time getting smaller day by day
I have to keep you close somehow someway
Stand at a distance and watch from afar
Never let you know what's in my heart
Keep it inside, don't let you see
Just me wishful thinkin what I want us to be
