She Is

She is the season that beguiles wisdom
With ripe fresh fruit and calming breeze
She is the ocean lapping at the shore
Dashing back then coming forth
She is each smooth pebble skimmed across the sea
She is the sun, bursting through the trees
She is sand castles, ice creams, and deck chairs
She is the frolicking abandonment of cares
She is everything; there's nothing in-between
She is every fragrant flower; the perfumed air I breathe

She is a lust that cannot last
Cooling rapidly, a love soon past
Soon her feelings will cloud over
Soon the hills will lose their aroma
Soon there will be nothing but withered leaves
Dead rose heads and deserted trees;
Soon the hunts will claim the life
Of the bounding fox, with it's playful mind
For she can't stay indefinitely
Except of course, in memory.
