Joshua Madubuike Poem
The Eagle, king of all birds,
Found on the highest of mountains and the tallest of trees,
Seen, within a tiny fraction of eternity,
Strong and mighty, swaying in the deepest of clouds.
The Eagle in our souls, ours to manifest.

Joshua Madubuike Poem
Come to me my Ella.
Come as you are. Naked. With your flaws.
Leave your pain, worry and shame behind.
Let us fly above the hills and mountains. Beyond the seven seas.
To a plane far, far beyond pain, where no man can reach.
And there we shall get lost in our fluids of passion.
And look down at these mortal souls, striving for nothing!
Come my Ella.

Joshua Madubuike Poem
Deep without reason, like noise without sound.
Without perception, like speech 'out communication.
A product of reflection, sown with intention in deep retention,
Lovely and golden t'is, subjective though it may be.
Recognized by many, embraced by few,
Deep and shallow, like sweet and sour.
God's very creation, the core of existence, outcome of genuine persistence.
Idolized by many, showcased by a fraction,
Threat to many, companion to a few.
Deep - God's gift to man, His very own image, my only true love!

Joshua Madubuike Poem
Take the mask off.
Live the life,
Dance in the rain,
Soar in the wind.
Take the mask off.
Be you,
With whomever, however and whenever.
This is life, filled with scars and errors.
What makes you and I thrive,
Lies in taking the mask off.
