The Women I Know

The women I know are very strong
The woman I know carry burdens beyond grasp
I see only reflections of their sorrow, or their strength and of their being
They teach the world lessons quietly and sometimes boisterously
Unbearable love for their kin
Unending endurance to work for their loves
Understanding, forgiving, disciplinary and resolute
The women I know are beings of lights

Flowering Growth

Like a seed soaking up the rain
I've been grasping
Like a sprout waiting for the sun
I've been yearning
For the springing of a bloom
In the bloomings of the Spring
Standing tall within myself
Life -- flowering growth

Life's a flower in the sun
Timeless, soaking up the rays
Life's a flower in a storm
Holding steadfast through the rain
During bloomings in the Spring
Springing bloom is almost due
Standing tall within myself
Pain cocoons
And joy renews anew

Being alive is flowering growth

Yo Ann

It just came upon me yesterday that there is no reason for it but I love you. It doesn’t mean I want anything from you or need anything from you but for some strange reason beyond reason, can you believe that — literally beyond any reason; there is love without anything attachment.

Yo life is so fire ??

Guamera

To know such distant memories are here with me now.
To conceptualize knowing and experiencing the roots binding me to this earth.
Painful and joyous.
Opulent phantoms.

Tongues I’ll never speak.
Stories I’ll never hear.
But these feelings transport me to an arms reach from provenance.
I’ve forgotten the details but I remember the love.

Roaming the earth.
A vagabond from above.

What Is

Nothing and something
Empty and full
Everything is when I say so
No, when I think so
Wait -- no, when I feel so

Could desire be the father and perception be the mother?
It could even be all one mechanism; one motion
One dance: projections, reflections and impressions
Meanings -- only known to me

Freedom

Everybody is the good guy
Everybody is justified
But you need an enemy
And I need someone to despise
Your ideas are wrong
At least someone told me so
And I want security
I want something to uphold
No! I want something to up hold me.

I can't handle true freedom
Freedom of perception

Patience

To move past
To overcome
To let go
The hardest thing to do

To rise above anger
To float above inadequacy
Take the most persistence

I have never controlled anything besides myself so why pretend to be angry?
I know and you know the only action we control in this continuous present moment is to be. We are good actors.

To Remember

I'm writing this down because I don't know how to express my feelings or emotions
I feel so much that I get lost in emotional adventures of anguish, sometimes of ones with angels
I am writing this down not to move on because the feelings and emotions remain in a place beyond time, accessible through the heart, but to remember without pain
To remember the words I didn't say and the words I should have swallowed
To remember the things I didn't do and the things I should have
To remember without pain -- to forgive myself
To understand the situation you and I were in
To grow and grasp the journey so far

Normalcy

I’m happy in my cage
the gold it shines so bright
can’t differ or astray
from thoughts within my mind

They help me to conform
they help me to be free
until the night it comes
lights up monstrosities

Thoughts keep me from myself
they’re keeping me from you
oh where oh where am I
but hiding in the blue

You’ll see that I’m not swaying
or moving to and fro
i’m sailing far away
into the mistress’s cove

Identification Game

What we are playing is the identification game.
Sometimes I’m a tree whose branches are dancing in the wind
Other times I wake up and I’m a bird singing;
dancing to my own tune
When I feel special I like to be the sun,
unwavering and radiant, dancing together with the planets
And when I’m home I like to be love;
dancing with you while it’s raining outside.
What we are playing is the identification game.
