Like a seed soaking up the rain I've been grasping Like a sprout waiting for the sun I've been yearning For the springing of a bloom In the bloomings of the Spring Standing tall within myself Life -- flowering growth Life's a flower in the sun Timeless, soaking up the rays Life's a flower in a storm Holding steadfast through the rain During bloomings in the Spring Springing bloom is almost due Standing tall within myself Pain cocoons And joy renews anew Being alive is flowering growth
