Dear Love

Love, I wanna love you, forever
But I don't know if you I'll ever have,ever
I wanna kiss you, make you dive in so deeply
Listen to your heart beat
Listen to it forever
Let me give you of my heart every bit
Have you fall in love ever so feebly
We share a love so common, we will easily journey us into the unknown, I know
So much love darling, but too many hurdles
So hold my hand, let's skip these puddles
Baby, the river flows inside us
Steady and calm as we pass the last bend
Passion, affection, we give both class
And they're gonna get us home, to cradle of our hearts
Love, this feels too good, I hope this flow never comes to an end

A M

A. M.

3.09 am
Still awake I am
Stares at the ceiling, occasionally to my palm or arm
Why? Just silly stuff, silly
Like why do harm, ham and hum sound the same? Haha
Then suddenly my mind is flooded
Thoughts of you, of us, good and bad, all want to be regarded
I can't help it, for that, you could call me retarded
But our love, ours is one that has to be guarded
So when my soul won't let my heart rest, I'll let it
With every heartbeat
I'm taken back to the day that luck made me you meet
When a look into your eyes gave me cold feet
When the spark, the fire we burn was lit
Love, you looked so fine, too fine
If I dare say divine
At the moment I had wished to ask for thine
Thine hand in marriage, but that would've been crossing the line
Too soon.
So I chose the faster way
To make you stay
Be mine? "Yes," you did say
And now here we are, loving, together all huddles having to slay
I wouldn't be happier.

3. 36 am
Still stuck in my fantasies
Floating in a thousand seas
Thinking of the million ways my love I should increase
To avoid your heart ever giving a crease
So far I know we're good, so I'm at some ease
Still, I'll do my best
I'm up for the test
Love, I look at you every day and I'm overwhelmed
God took his time, to create a woman so bold
A heart of diamonds, diamonds and gold
A soul so young and tender
No baby, you're never growing old
Neither is my love for you, no we're never getting cold.
You know, they see us smile
But they don't know, how much through every mile
We scratch, snap and fight
How much we push to get back to that light
One minute you hate me, the next I'm shaping your brow
And it's what I cherish, how we grow
This selfless loving, our flow
Love, I'll take every srength and flaw
As long as you stay, stay mine forever
I want it all
God gave us us, so please don't stall
I won't let you down ever
I promise.

4.02 am
Drowsy
Goodnight, my love.

My One Promise

I won't, no I can't
Promise you forever
'Cause we don't know when our time could be over
So let's let it burn, the fire
Just don't, don't get burnt
Let's take this a notch higher
Let me love you better
Let me be your heroine, fighter
Let me be the one you always come back to
The one you wanna hate and love too
I will be all you ever want and more
I know, I can get annoying, but we know I'm far from a bore
Let's make it spark
Let's build of love a stark
So true it scares us too
Let's make the skies stick at blue
I'll let you make my heart reel
For love, I'll make yours heal
I wanna make this so surreal
So far from yet so close to real
Before we do, I'll make you one promise, do take note
That I'll always be there, even when I'm not.

One More Time

We could run off
Run off into the night
It might not, no, it won't feel right
But ain't this the love that we speak of?
A love so reckless?
No, just adventurous
After tonight I won't love you less
'Cause this so amazingly dangerous
The dark
It's scary
But as long as we're gonna get back
Of none of it I'm gonna stay wary
I wanna be careless
Just once
Before we go back to being us
Before we are ordinary again
Before it goes back to our sweet fuss
Just one more time.

Take It All

Stumbling
Hearts gambling
Souls rumbling
Rage, fear, love, struggling

Taking a leap
It's just the tip
Of the iceberg
But we might drown, ourselves rip
No this is way too deep

But for you
I'll roll in the morning dew
You've got my soul stuck like glue
To all your good and bad, all of you
You make this feel so true

So baby...

Take my hand
Help me land
Help me learn
Fire in me, don't let me burn

Let me lead
Us into the unknown
Big risk, but we're worth a knead
So whatever, whenever you need
I'll be your fountain, queen without a crown.

So much pain
So much passion
I'll take it, topped or plain
As long as there's an inclusion
Of unconditionality
I'll take it, take it all.

Imperfectly Perfect

Imperfectly Perfect
My walk, I strut
Just to stiffle the hurt
Only, to protect my heart
From the world, that won't play it's part
The world that doesn't understand that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

I smile
It's perfect, I know
But it's mostly fake, not my style
But I do it, to hide from the gnaw
Of the world that won't believe that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

I preach kindness
But when will I ever meet tenderness?
I just fancy less pressure, stress
A love, not for me but everyone regardless
For a change, in a world that won't trust that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

They think I'm too fat, too skinny
I think I'm too beautiful
They think I'm not smart enough but I'm a genie
I mean genius, with a heart full
Full of glow
And a soul that has a seat at the front row
To all the good in a world that won't trust that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

I don't dress right
I'll never win the fight
I dream, but I'll never see the light
The blackbird, won't fly, 'cause that's some height
'Cause she's not "it", in the crowd she doesn't fit
Not in the world that refuses too see that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

Starve myself
Eat everything from the shelf
Which way? World, decide
Choose a side
But if you can't, then I'm an ideal
And she is the real deal
So don't push, just trust that
Beyond the mask
Is the imperfectly perfect.

Perfect image, perfect body
Why does it matter so much?
What if we made intellect matter more?
What if we really did see beauty from the inside out?
What if we judged less, appreciated more?
Then, then we would have a world that believes and invests
In something eternally priceless
Something beyond the mask
Something, imperfectly perfect.

Used To Be

He was the sun
I was the star
We oozed light and fun
But our zones of existence were
In big contrast
Day and night
Everyday was all make up and a fight
No, we were never going to last
Well, except for the love
I think a trace we still have
But we were
Used to be
And that's just it.

Easier

Easier
It's gonna get easier somehow
We might not know how
It sure won't be now
But what is there to do if not hope?

Easier
It's all we hope for
And that victory is in store
So with this in mind
We fight
Fight for the happiness, the life we wanna find
For all that we believe in, for that treasured light

'Cause in the end we know
It's gonna get easier, somehow.
