A Right To Live

A right to free movement

A right to live

Where we want

Should be our perogative

We should not feel that we can not roam

Or decide to set down new roots

Or to find a new home.

Borders are a man made concept

Nothing to with nature or creations set up

They were created by those who wish to rule

Making it easy for them control

Dividing people into smaller groups

Then instilling within them a tribal instinct,

Selling them an identity of nationhood

Proud to march under flags and anthems

Creating many individual races

This started back as further than the dark ages

Almost since the dawn of man

A flaw that may see us all dammed

Unless we begin to evolve back into a state

The we started off as

Just one race

That allows everyone to share

And move around the planet

Sharing cultures, faith and love

Sharing the wealth of which there's more than enough

Working in communities to create much more

One mass co-operative force

Respecting the resources of this earth

Not just exploiting it for all its worth

But nurturing and using permaculture to grow

The foundations of the seeds we grow

And fostering tolerance between us all

Building a peace that is eternal

Putting an end to war through self rule

Existentialism becomes the new tool

Of being your own authority

Showing kindness and compassion to all

This is my dream I share with you all

One race

One love

One peace is may call.

Plagiarism

Why plagiarise

If you have an open

And creative mind,

Why waste your time

On rehashing others

Words or rhymes,

When you, I am sure

Have a unique take on life,

Paraphrase that’s OK,

Quote and credit

From whence it came

But plagiarising

Just seems to me

A waste of your talent

And in a way it cheats,

Those who first wrote those lines

Crafted those words

From their own mind

And you then creep up

From behind and try to steal,

Their praise and limelight.

To plagiarise is as good as a lie

Theft of another’s vision on life,

It’s tantamount to being a leech

And cultivating others belief,

Is just creatively lazy

And it always phases me

Because it’s not necessary.

I Wish I Was

I wish I was an eagle soaring

With golden wings of light

Incandescently gliding across a moonlit sky

Swooping, diving, rising upwards

Harbouring dreams of a new age

Idyllic is the beauty of the feeling of feathered games

Wondering how the eagle feels soaring high over mountain peaks

Everlasting memories is that not what we all seek

Ruminating on questions about all that eagles see

Everlasting quintessential birds flying on filigree golden wings.

A Life Without Meaning

Do you have something meaningful

In your life that you believe in

Is there something that you worship

That fills you scared feelings

If there is not then what's the point of living

What's the point of really existing

Because a life with no meaning is no life at all

A life with out a belief in something

Is a life that may as well be annulled

I believe in beauty

I believe in love

I believe in consciousness

And creation so very much

I believe in nature

In spirit and in mankind

I believe all the species of this world are special

I believe in being kind

All these things give my life meaning

All of these beliefs are things that drive me on in life

I couldn't live a life with no meaning

I would be a empty vessel

Simply doing nothing except breathing.

Work Your Mind

Work your mind

To be intrepid

Work your mind

Increase your perspective

Work your mind to be succinct

Push it to expand

Far beyond the brink

Work your mind

Like you work your body

Until its fit and beautiful

Work your mind

You can make it sexy

To others who are unsuspecting

Suprise people in every way

Keep them guess about you every day

Work your mind so it's unpredictable

Work your mind

And heed the call

That a trained and healthy mind

Is actually more creative and appealing to all.

A Life of Love and Light

Approaching life with love

Lived with an open heart,

Irrespective of others differences

Fundamentally shining light,

Everyone welcome to join me,

Oneness and unity on mass

Favouring love over hate,

Lighting a path and a way to

Omniscient love in this world,

Vehemently embracing unity

Everything equal as it ought to be,

Attaching ourselves more to peace,

Negating hate, war and jealousy

Dedicating our time to betterment,

Lifting up the whole of humanity

Irresistibly the light is drawing me

Great fully exposing the love in me

Highlighting just how life can be

Trusting in the love and the light.

The Old Curiosity Shop

I found myself in the old curiosity shop

Looking for something strange and different

The owner said how about Schrodingers cat

I said did not curiosity kill that?

He said its a paradox unknown

Alive or dead its something you can still own

I said no.

He said how about a spider I have living in a parlour

I said do I look like a fly?

He said you can be anything you want to be

I said I have no desire to die.

I looked further searching for something new

But everything was old

And paradoxical in truth

I said have you got a quantum box

So that I can think outside it

Maybe it will inspire me to think of something new

He said I sold that only yesterday to a Jewish man with wild hair

But I do have a super string theory residing over there

I stated I do not have any needs for a bunch of incomplete theories

All grouped up into one.

Feeling rather down of heart and feeling rather glum

I saw a dust covered book on existentialism

And said have you got a theory for being and nothingness

He said Satre took that one today by his own authority

So I decided it was time to go home and started to leave

When I saw a quantum paradigm staring back at me

I suddenly felt exited and said is that paradigm something you would like to shift

He said for you my friend most certainly

And I decided to take it

And as the paradigm shifted so did my quantum space

Now I find myself in Shambala on a Buddhist holiday.

Golden Sun

I remember the days of the golden sun

When the summer were warm

And I laid watching the blue sky

The white clouds passing by

Ignorantly mindful and still

Hearing nothing but bird song

And the breeze on my face

I long now to find my way back to this place.

The Shame of Our Sentient State

The pride that comes from ego

And the prejudice from ignorance

Sees humanity in a hole

Created by its own arrogance

It will not work in consciousness

To evolve and to transcend

It simply wants to fight itself

In a selfish battle of greed and hate

Reflections of its flawed state

Transposed and manifesting in toxic waves

Negating positive frequencies

Through their unawakened brain

The illusory drains

Their ability to retain

Any sense of love, peace and compassion

Which is why this earth they are trashing

Like mindless zombies

Feeding off the flesh of this earth

And inflicting so much self hurt

And I find quite embarrassing

That a sentient race keeps clashing

With its own ignorant flaws

That ends up in so many wars

And refusing to march toward

A paradigm shift that may just save us all.

Contest We Don'T Need No Stinking Contests

Contests! good for building egos up

great for knocking creativity down

as I pore over words and sounds

to make my poetry jump off the page

to come alive in others minds

in the most imaginative way.

Contests! we don't need them

they drive us crazy every day

putting our best foot forward

and doing something that is brave

putting your art out there for judging

nurtured and created with much loving

only to be brutally dimissed

or even worse maybe even savaged

Contests! Huh, well this I find an interesting challenge

maybe I will just have a go at this

rise to the challenge and try to win it

not because I don't think it still stinks

but because in my own way we become

ever so slightly addicted to it

looking for some kind of justification

for writing poetry and putting it out to the nations

or just because we have a competitive edge

contests! I've won a couple so see what's next

see if I can be the best, I mean i wish everyone all the best

I just enter for a bit of fun, not to be just number one!

but being unplaced leaves me undone

but hey, let's show a little grace keep a smile upon our faces

swallow this bitterest pill and compete until they lose the will

to misjudge my work again, I am the top contestant man!

enter contests or be dammed, stinking contests drive me mad

Argh!!!! is that even a word?
