Unity In Diversity

Unity in Diversity
We together as a nation
We can break the cycle of deprivation
We can put an end to this situation
We can get back Earth its sensation
Let there be cultural variation
Let there be innovation
New aspirations
And inspirations
Let there be useful creations
Let us unearth
Our true earth
Let's respect the place where we got our birth.

Doubts

Doubts.....
Some doubts rule my mind
It blocks my foresight
It doesn’t allow me to reach my heights
It dims my imaginary sight
But it gives me the power to fight
And just rise like the bright light
Maybe it gives me fright
But it also made me think right
And that’s why getting doubts is fine.

The Walls of Misery

The walls of misery

I was none, according to all
They always thought I was there to fall
I was crushed between walls of misery
My hopes and dreams were never set free
My eyes swollen, I ended up with bruised lips and salted cheeks
My heart cried out for an unsung freedom in peaks
Up the mountain, soars an eagle
If I demand that, it’s illegal
More than me, my soul was hurt
They filled my head with fuller and dirt
Now I am actually no one
Not according to all but only to myself, - the one.

Life Is Just Simply Complicated

Life is just simply complicated
And when I realized it, I literally hated
The terrible illusions that my mind created
Broke me and my confidence deteriorated
Can't I just live without knowing the truth
The truth is always bitter
Like a terrified owl's hoot
I was happy living with the lie
Knowing the truth made me cry
In that false world, I was flying high
Not knowing that it was a false sky
I have no more guts to try
Or live like before once again
I can't just bear any more pain
The clouds are shedding their tears
And I am vanishing in my fears
I am lost somewhere
The empty streets, I gloomily stare
Now no one knows I am still there
Watching them from a distance
I stay away from them with a lot of resistance
I am now omnipresent.

That Fateful Night

That Fateful Night……
The nightfall makes my mind to shudder with fear,
I remember that night crystal clear,
I was approaching to attend a knock on the door,
I did not stop until I heard a loud roar.

All of a sudden the hall became dark
But I could see an approaching flame spark
The tree outside was wavering in the wind
And I was hiding under the sofa with a sharp knife
I thought it was the last day of my life
The rush of adrenaline made me come out
I, making it out alive was a complete doubt
And then I hear a painful shout
It tore through my ears

I realized it was gone but my fear remained
The walls of my house blood stained
My heart was throbbing with guilt
Now my life was ruined, I was like silt
At a corner, I see his corpse

I then decide to ride away on my horse
I try to keep up my pace
But when I close my eyes I only see his bruised face
I knew I had committed a crime
And it felt right at that time

I close my eyes and all the memories play in my brain
I throw myself in the pathway of a speeding train
My legs were shaking with the train’s speed
But I pay it no heed
The train launches forward on me and I fall down covered in a pool of blood

Now I have cleansed my soul and started a new life
I am everywhere, starting from the clouds, stars and the skies
You see me on the lawn and in everyone
Now I am all and none.

Nature At Its Best

Nature at its best!!

Rivers that flow
Mountain peaks that glow
Cold winds blow
Sunset that’s slow
Plateaus that are low
Winters cold as the snow
The evergreen meadow
The water shallow
The bird called sparrow
Fly in the view of narrow
The view from top is beau
Nature at its best
This is an adorable fest.

Draupadi's Mahabharath

Draupadi's Mahabharath
Blinded by thoughts I have sunk into a corner
Unlikely and hasty thoughts seep into my heart
Maybe as I knew that I was the silent mourner
Of one noble soul, that destiny has tone apart
Clad in all white, I close my eyes
I am carried away by a ray of bright light
Then I ask myself if this was worth the disguise
Pride, lust, greed, jealousy, and vengeance dimmed my thoughtful sight
The cruse I had laid upon the land of glory and magic
Withered away in the passage of time
I had been one of the causes of an incident so tragic
I do not know what to call it, whether a curse of a lifetime or a selfish crime
Amidst the downpour of thoughts in my mind
I let myself to peace and left my intriguing thoughts undefined.

Note- Draupadi is one of the main characters in Mahabharath and she is the wife of the Pandavas or the five brothers.

Mahabharath is a great Indian epic which narrates the great war fought between the Kuru clan ( The Pandavas and the Kauravas) for many reasons.

This poem is just my assumption about Draupadi's point of view about the aftermath of the war. I do not intend to hurt anyone's feelings or opinions.

The Cursed Hill

The cursed hill

Up the cursed hill
Prevails an uncanny silence
So deep and still
The nostalgic feeling gives you chills
The adrenaline rush fills your body and mind with a thrill
The dark wavering branches of the trees
The abandoned house overlooks the seas
The buzzing of the carnivorous bees
The ice-cold winds’ breeze
The appeasing humming of the mocking jay
A bizarre sense of an approaching stray
Beware the woods that are dense
Also never cross the fence
If you disobey, you are at your own expense.

The Day the Internet Stopped Working

The day the internet stopped working, I opened the door and let my face embrace the breeze of cold air,
I looked around to find dainty plants for which I never cared.

After a long time, I stepped out of my house and strolled through the park for a while,
Funnily, I felt as if I had walked a mile!

I stopped and was astonished at the sight that beheld my eyes,
'Oh dear!' people are conversing with each other and being nice!

I sat on a huge rock at the corner of the park,
Soon I realized it was getting dark.

After ages, I looked up at the sky contrary to my daily routine of looking down at my mobile screen,
'So that's what they call sunset!' I happily scream.

For a moment I felt my life was a lie,
I guiltily looked at the Earth, for which I never batted an eye.

A familiar sound shook me out of my thoughts,
I was notified that the internet connection was back and I was pulled back into the same knot.

The Cold Christmas Night

The cold Christmas night
The snow gleams white
Cold winds blow outside
The trees shiver and hide
Cinder keeps warm inside
The snow feels light
Beautiful sight
It is a cold night
Celebrate Christmas in the moonlight.
