U G L Y

U...are the greatest gift from God

Got…to understand it is you that will always make a positive difference

Love...will embrace your soul unconditionally

Yourself...and others like you, are the reason good exists in this world

You Today and Everyday

The life of pain enters suffering
Molds together righteous gain and restructuring
Of self love emoting happiness
The mistakes create foundational lessons
With so many unanswered questions
What to do with this information
Needing liberation
Stay consumed in weakness
Or to always be tough and fearless
Knowing what is best
It’s life’s test
Showing how to prepare for the review
Process of a redo
Helping others bond together in life’s journey
Discovering what is really worthy
You today and everyday!

Miracle Mile

Come and walk with me on miracle mile

It will enhance all your senses

Bringing tingling sensations throughout your body

Making your your soul feel so good

The meaning of life will be understood

As we walk

All your worries will drift away

Feeling beautiful warmth

From the suns luminous rays

It’s a journey to happiness

Where we live on forever

Flowers are singing

Birds are dancing

Trees are playing

It’s amazing to see

Entertaining guaranteed

The flow of the aroma

Play sounds of a violin made from Cremona

Once we reach the end up ahead

We will come out brand new my friend!

A Cowboy Poem

I was riding on the range
And I was feeling pretty good.
All the cattle were behaving;
They were running like they
 should.

The sun was just a-setting
In a blaze of orange and red.
And my dog was acting frisky
Like a pup that’s been well fed.
I had planned to build a campfire,
So I chopped myself some wood.
Then I cooked my steak and beans
And I can tell you they were good.

I pulled off my leather boots
You know the ones you buy in
  town.
I took out my heavy blanket
And prepared to settle down.

A Unicorn Poem

Beauty in its essence
A silhouette in the midst
Stands a magical beast
Whose horn points to the east
Its wonderful radiant heart
Filled with the purest of mythical art
In a landscape so beautiful
Plentiful to say the least
Color so soft
Like the delicate silver sea
The gentle soul can be felt in its presence
The wonder of it all
Is its true grace
That will leave you in awe
This is not a fantasy, newborn or a dinosaur
It is the one and only
Loving unicorn

The Quiet Heart

The Quiet Heart

Life with all of its storms
Keeps my heart always in reform
The sadness of a loss
Fills my aching heart with a criss cross
Knowing, I will see them once again
My failures I endure
Will skip a beat
To the greatest defeat
I know in the end, it will be bittersweet
The lessons in life I will learn
Will not leave me with a heartburn
But the ability to discern
The heartbreak of love that once turned me away
Reappears again to the sound of cheers
On my wedding day
The birth of my child
Wonderful greatest heartfelt gift
I can hear the sound of your little heart beat
The joy which this newfound life brings
Molding my emotions with every heartstring
After all I have been through
My heart will always
Remember my debut
Every breakthrough part
All with a beating of the quiet heart

Enter Into the Light

I feel my soul
I touch your strength
We are not forgotten
Like the ocean's of old
The skies of new
Can this be true
Heaven awaits us
May God bless me and you

A Beautiful Mess

The countless sleepless nights
Thinking of a way to win the fight of our life
Unbelievable fear
knowing the end is near
Beautiful simple sounds of the ocean
Enters my soul, full of commotion
Let the light guide us through
The struggles we face old and new
I fear no evil
Yet, I am scared of my upheaval
Understanding it is ok
Feel the hurt and pain
And let the tears all rain down my face
Embrace the moments
My actions, they shall foment
I need to keep on going
Be strong and know I belong
Always by your side
To hold you close and never say goodbye
The little time we have left
I will always love you the best
As the stress explodes
Our life
A beautiful mess

Crazy Cat Lady

Crazy Cat lady

Crazy cat lady,
Having your cats listen to the music of slim shady,
Daily!
Crazy cat lady,
Feeding your cats mash potatoes and
Gravy!
Crazy cat lady,
I feel so sorry for your husband,
Brady!
Crazy cat lady,
I especially do not like your cat,
Brainy!
Crazy cat lady,
Once and for all, stop dumping all the dirty litter bags on the side facing my home. It smells oh so,
Badly!
Crazy cat lady,
I think I am going to be moving back to the city of,
Bailey!

The Destination

My eyes open to the feeling of the warm sunshine glow
The bed feels so good that getting up will be slow
Peering through my bedroom window and seeing there isn’t any snow
The news report was again a no show
I go into the shower, watching the drain take away the soapy water flow
Dry myself off with a rag towel combo
Get dressed and put on my hand made boots from the people of Navajo
I hop into my car, turn on the audio and begin to drive with gusto
To where, I don’t know
Zipping, passing a few vehicles in a row
Telling myself, hope none of my tires blow
I see up ahead a stop n go
Thinking of a hot cup of coffee or espresso
Definitely feeling hungry for a gyro
A pick up truck passes me by with loud music playing the classic Lionel Richie song, “Hello”
Triggering a memory from a long time ago
Snapping back into reality, looking at my rear view mirror, it is too late, I’ve passed it like a tornado
I quickly feel for my wallet, I forgot it! at home is my dough
Get back home soon without getting pulled over for no driver’s license to operate my pinto
Home is destination incognito
