Million Dollar Smile

A few pretty pearls
Danced around her neckline.
Her beautiful smile
Would enlighten every heart.
Bringing immense joy each day.

Rome and Roman

This feeling is common
I am frequently told
If in Rome, I should be a Roman.

These feelings for you are uncommon
Although I try to be bold
For I'm told these feelings are common.

Whenever in my heart, you I summon
My heart with your smile you do hold
I realize, in Rome, I should be a Roman.

Although its already autumn
I see I'm not at all cold.
I hear this feeling is common.

The days have been so solemn
Yet they feel so old
Still, when in Rome, I should be a Roman.

Anyway I keep trying on
Helplessly my feelings only manifold.
This feeling is common
'Cuz if in Rome, I should be a Roman.

The Only One

You have always been the one
You, who had ruled my heart.
I still can't get over these feelings
Even after knowing we cant even start.

You, who had ruled my heart
I wish you had stayed away.
Even after knowing we can't even start
I see myself shimmer away.

I wish you had stayed away
So that my heart could be in peace.
I see myself shimmer away
Whenever the truth of your rejection I do feel.

So that my heart could be in peace
I tried forgetting you
Whenever the truth of your rejection I do feel
I wonder if I would ever heal.

I try hard to move on
Although I still couldn't get over these feelings
I wish I could somehow forget
That you've always been the one.

The Game

We get many chances
We take many stances
We love to create instances
We love to break circumstances.

We create delusions
We make confusions
We suspect interruptions
We interpret discussions.

The world seems too small
The topic seems too dull
The words face the fall
The temp increases in the hall.

We keep conversing
We don't plan meetings
We hide deep feelings
We surface them by joking.

People try to keep it real
We try to otherwise feel
We do make deals
But never our relation do we seal.

The wind calls out our name
The birds chirp to fame
Though it sounds outright lame
we never get tired of our games.

Limitless

Sky is the limit
the phrase sounds so good and fit.
Wish life had been so boundless
then living would have been pitiless.

I am usually made to think
for decisions are to be made in a wink.
Everything gets reduced to probability
I am generally diluted of my ability.

I always try to reach the other dimension
for that's where I find a peaceful destination.
Regardless of time and matter
I wish I could be the Mad Hatter.

The complications and emotions,
make me drown in desperation.
For love is all I seek
but that's too costly to even afford a week.

Yet I keep working hard
for its a life with no warranty card.
I dream of a world of a kind,
that could even be seen by the blind.

The Heartbreak

Some people leave us without any reason,
We are left in treason.
The memories remain as if in prison,
Because they don't tend to erase with season.

We slowly in our thoughts resign
All those fake smiles we do design.
Remembering those moments so pristine,
we ourselves to our past assign.

Slowly succumbing to depression,
Habituating ourselves to aggression
We lead our life with confusion,
Wondering the reason for this intrusion.

Losing eventually the smallest of perfections,
We tend to malfunction.
Our heart slowly slipping away to detention,
We cry ourselves to sleep in desperation.

Waiting if there would be any hope,
But our conscience countering with a nope
We do ourselves dope,
With the drug called depression we cope.

The Mismatch

Why do we draw conclusions
when we don't have valid reasons.
We prefer to make a fuss
we don't see what effects us.

I feel betrayed
but the next moment it is contrayed
I wonder if this is it
Will I in this mismatch fit?

You are the most perfect
You've not got any tiny defect.
You're someone I've never seen
but with you in love I've always been.

I try with myself reasoning
Why couldn't I give up in the beginning?
Though it seems beautiful
it might later prove to be harmful.

But for me this beginning is deep
I'm already standing at the mountain steep.
Whatever may be the circumstances,
I'd stand by you in all instances.

Love Ahead

Amazing are these feelings
Belonging only for those specific ones
Caring everything about them
Doing everything as by my heart told.
Every small emotion encompassing the heart
Forlorn small longings begining to start.
Great content for smallest of things
Highly excited for every little fling.
I wonder if this is something new
Jumbled are my thoughts that are still due.
Killing every other remorse without frowning
Lost in enigmatic thoughts, I smile.
Moving towards an unknown light
Not knowing makes it even more bright.
Obvious is this impatience
Persistence somehow wins in the end.
Quietly smiling to myself
Remembering things in minute details
Stumbling over unattended memories
Trying to hide uninvited blushes.
Uselessly following that unknown light
Visualising a unicorn at the end of my stride
Wondering what else could this all mean
Xeroxing each moment into thousands, I live.
Yet I live in anticipation of tomorrow
Zooming towards this particular emotion called love.

Uncertain Bondings

You are someone,
who is comparable to no one.
You say I'm lucky to have you,
but that's a fact known to few.

You treat me with casualty
I'm always a difficulty.
You don't ever complain
even when the slate is plain.

I wonder what I mean to you
'cuz your feelings are still due.
You neither say nor hide
but you are always cautious in your stride.

Its rather difficult to get answers
for the simplest of questions, no matter.
You choose your words with grace,
I'm always lagging to keep pace.

Its totally tiring to be with
such uncertainty you forthwith.
Though I try hard to leave
I realise that makes no sense to live.

Because He Had Been Judgemental

The beautiful orchids seemed to blossom
The ambience seemed enthralling
Their appearances were solemn
The location was perfect for his confession.

His love stood before him smiling
He had been overwhelmed.
"You must be sophisticated as per your upbringing,
are you sure you are worth being my beloved?"

Lo! There went his love unconditional
because he had been judgemental!

The day had arrived
The one which he had dreamt of
The voice inside him quivered
The dream now seemed too tough.

The plunge in his career
that would take him to heights.
"Why, you are just a person so mere,
to have mastered this field's freights?"

And there crashed his job incredible,
because he had been judgemental.

That warm hand in the chills
That bear hug in times desperate giving him strength
That person who stood by him during peril
That smile that promised hope to no length.

He sure did have a bestfriend
Who supported him through thick and thin.
"I suppose you are a fool to no end,
because you cant in your life win."

Alas! He became despicable
because he had been judgemental.
