I'Ll See You Through

1. Sometimes, I feel so discouraged and all alone, Often times it seems that all my strength and hope is gone, But if I listen through the stillness in the middle of the night, I can hear the Master say "My child I'll see you through".

Chorus: I'll see you through; Oh, the Master speaks to me. I'll see you through just pray and believe. I'll see you through; Oh, the Master speaks to me, Look up my precious child just pray and believe.

2. Now, when the doctor says: "I've done all that I can do, Let's place it in God's hands, Do you believe he'll move for you? I just smile through the pain as I look up at him, And I whisper "Doc' my God will see me through again".

3. And then one day when I cross death's chilly tide, To a land where sweet joy and peace does abide; It's then I'll see my loved ones who have gone on before, And Jesus will say to me: My precious child 'Welcome Home".

Chorus(I use this after 3rd verse): I carried you through; Oh, the Master will speak to me. I carried you through, Now aren't you glad you served me? I carried you through; Oh, the Master speaks to me; Now, here you'll live in peace and always be pain free.

*Written by: Alice 'Lewis' Dozier on 'March 10th, 1999'. I wrote this just one week before the Lord called my Mother, 'Anna Juanita Lewis' home to Heaven. 'God' knew that my Mother had grown very tired, that her body had grown feeble and that she desperately missed my Daddy (Elmer Franklin Lewis), who went to Heaven on November 15th, 1997. I just want my parents to know that their memories, will always live in my heart and mind! I promise that one day when my life on earth is over, That I'll join them and the Lord in Heaven to live forevermore.
