Deep Water

All along life's pathway
Many acquaintances I meet
But oft time by grace
God gives, someone I didn't seek

And through the years
Graciousness with glory, becomes a peak...
"Of Him in her" "Of Him in him"
And God's Life, In Her, In Him,

 IS
A 'Well Spring' from which I drink.

Our Heavenly Father
 Is so loving, so good, so kind
That
My heart fills and thrills with gratitude
As His Goodness in friends I find.

And;
I am so blessed that I cry....as verily
It is YOU, the Spirit depicts
In whom I am allowed to drink.

Dearest darling friend, I'm thankful,..
You are " the top," a Christ devoted one
So Fair, So Good, So Meek
Oh, I Praise God, That From You I Can Drink

Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water
A man of understanding will draw it out
Proverbs 20:5

Ashton's Flight

pink lollipop on yellow cotton candy tree
marshmallows in meadows hold up me;
i sail on peppermint wings... amongst...

around these beautiful things

i have no cat that plays no fiddle
no dish running away with a spoon
but evening finds me decked out in splendor

as I fly by that cow jumping over the moon

my wings flash silvery in the moon's glow
a mighty sight to people below
they hold their breath and sigh,

 how   d o e s   she fly so slow!!!

now everyone knows I am landing and dread it
woe and woe is me...
my head is thumping, my heart is jumping

oh Lord, How I hate reali -Tee, ---Hee Hee Hee

Looking

'Onest Orion, like an ugly face draws

And night's damp... dawn - dew lies;

Therewith, shadows of hallowed mist;

I look for you....;

You would hold me close; know just

what to say.

Shadows' world flee,---'N disappear;

Ghostly, ---Sounds W'd  melt away;

And the fear of the unknown--- Pass like

 brightest day;

But,...

My Darling, ...I look for you still....and long!

It would be divine if you were here,

with me; Mine, just mine.

My heart would be...Free, and my world ---

Angel "right."

SO...

I'll be back again...tomorrow night; --- Looking

My Love

Do you wonder that my lips are tipped with gold
My tongue of silver?

Tis my beloved heart, enshrined, of blood jewels red
Which speaks of the flesh whole head mannered, bread

En

Sapphires of peace and emeralds 'en pastures green
Marks the hours my beloved's diamonds gleam

He breathes forth a purely marvelous indelible sheen
And dew drop jewels from his fingers are seen

Most comely my heart be when it sees
His beating ruby, blood- fast red

FOR ME

He Was

HE WAS

He was one of those Splendor In The Grass
  Forgetless- heart filled days of glory;
    His spirit on white puffy cloud-
       Sun- cloned Lewisburg, WV, fast water

Heaven skipped the top rocks as surely,
 As never had my heart longed so deeply,
   Nor spirit wind felt so beguilingly sweet,
     Whipping the earth's face clearer-dearer

His arms bound our soul-gathered beings'
  Invisible cry;
    Whilst the brilliant sky so high
        TOLD THIS STORY:   YEP,

THIS GIRLS IN LOVE WITH THE BOY!

 bettyburdette 2016

The first time I knew I loved my husband, we were
 up on Greenbrier River across Low Water Bridge, WV.
 He was so silently intent on the river, sky, and the
 beautiful clearer than clear water. His spirit was
 sculpting while I fell through space as only a teen can.
 That is what the poem is about, AND

 To You, My Only Love --- Gone to Be With THE LOVER OF
   OUR SOULS, on this 2016 EASTER---HAPPY EASTER TO YOU..
