Innocence

He called me that S word again
deadly threats with His pen
a coincidence in disguise
I now seek out other guys

Revirgin Mary I willn't be
alive in fantasy with thee
mercy falls with whips
silent lay the chips

Twist me turn me
I won't say a word
you killed your credibility
when you called me "turd"

I collaborate then dominate
the way you like to play
tomorrow turns happiness
so long deity and gay

Respect - a Two Way Street

Hey there fella,
Listen up real fine
I'm gonna blast ya
With this slammin rhyme

You said I be trippin
Cuz i can't show my love
Well you still be creepin
With that itsy package you shove

Go back and give me
Something more than your haiku
For this big ol momma
I needs somethin to chew

Don't get all uppity
Or sig yer hoes on me
You mess with the wrong one
Can't your Silence see

You can make the others
Lick up all yo shoes
But head on off to boys town
For another that you choose

Shake bam rattle
I ain't showin you my stuff
Bye ya made up tyrant
This B has had enough

His High Road Is a Tunnel

The silence that's before us is a patent lie
For when you see behind the mask
There is darkness is those eyes

He says come take the high road
With his gracious and his meek
But down into a tunnel
His image has to sneak

I don't paint a picture
I don't wish him well
I don't tell his women
That he can rot in hell

If he tells a story
Check the words real fine
I heard them once or twice before
And I'm pretty sure they're mine

I Await

The awoken are the last to notice I await not just with yesterday's fear but tomorrow's anxiety Not Unknowing the difference between real and fantasy the good from the grit the snooze from the wit Kill me off in purple haze  where diamonds get their rightful gaze  a preacher's son on the run I await and look at what I have done

Conversations With Maria

Long walks and innocent talks
the fire in her eyes felt warm

First time kisses leaping
with secrets held back inside

Silence ripped her tongue
as white nights turned to run

Long lost lyrics played down under
stolen from artistic walls
momentarily her hesitancy stalled
tell this girl all

In solitude her black plague pled
another cancerous cell was dead

He Took My Hand

When he took my hand
this drab world changed
summer grasses became
a carpet of green where we
lay hour after hour lost
in each other

My eyes saw color in everything
and my heart filled
with raw emotion

His touch rivaled the warmth of the sun
causing buds to blossom on our trees
my lips open to his
my heart open to love

Where Is Silent

Radio Ikhlas remains silent
where racism becomes violent
actions speak louder teach
a hidden man who preached

Goodbye : a Silent Friend

Love is a broken affair
life bled through a tear
an open book unread
without him it is dead
without him I am dead

Death By Poison - Socrates

The hemlock grove keeps haunting
trembles dare fade away

"Crito, we owe a cock to Asclepius.
Please, don't forget to pay the debt"

Those thou teach have greater reach
to poison of the day

these needles vein in vain
diepan, water fogs__
no holding off the pain
no holding out the pain
