Heather Mcfall Poem
with each passing day I walk a long way of sorrow
knowing there is no other life to borrow
seeing the world through the eyes of the unseen
drifting past with a brightened beam
I feel my own envy closing in
this life of a depressed downward spin
I'm crushed under the weight of it all
will this be the last time of my undying fall
swaying like waves in the sea
I wonder in my heart if this is the real me
unraveling my ties
pacing towards my own demise
struggling for the light of day
or is the darkness forever will I stay
I see no end
is my path an obscured trend
I loathe the outside world
it sits on an axis while being twirled
all is worry but alas no hope
I'm falling down my last steep slope

Heather Mcfall Poem
Deep in the forest behind the trees
I see a little meadow full of leaves
I walk all around to see each one
Wondering where they came from and why there was no sun
Why to wonder was simple to be
It was the middle of winter you see
Other leaves have shriveled and gone
But these ones still live on
Then a whisper came to my ear
Telling me to stay, listen, and hear
Because I have a story that once was told
Of a being so powerful to this day from old
You can see him in the rain you can see him in the sun
He is known to all and to all the One
He is Alpha and Omega the Beginning and End
The one set in heaven not down the bend
You give him your problems he'll carry you through
You can even ask him to carry you too
So as you leave the forest behind the trees
Remember you will always be one of these leaves
Your body may die but your spirit lives on
Because you are a believer of God and his Son
