The Leaves That Live

Deep in the forest behind the trees I see a little meadow full of leaves I walk all around to see each one Wondering where they came from and why there was no sun Why to wonder was simple to be It was the middle of winter you see Other leaves have shriveled and gone But these ones still live on Then a whisper came to my ear Telling me to stay, listen, and hear Because I have a story that once was told Of a being so powerful to this day from old You can see him in the rain you can see him in the sun He is known to all and to all the One He is Alpha and Omega the Beginning and End The one set in heaven not down the bend You give him your problems he'll carry you through You can even ask him to carry you too So as you leave the forest behind the trees Remember you will always be one of these leaves  Your body may die but your spirit lives on Because you are a believer of God and his Son
