I Pick My Nose

Quantum physics
Astro-physics
Go to work
pay my bills
God wrote,
"K' David too had ills."
So my simple son asks:
And my simpler reply:
"Whatever they teach you in school
...so will be your sigh."

A Simple Irony

They worship a god
We worship the dollar.

They need a dictator
We need a leader.

They fly kites now
We on the ground die young.

Lived In Vain

I saw the red robin you mentioned
in the street today,
since I live in NYC,
how does one actually put a wayward bird back into its nest?

When you know,
but pretend not to
When your lover tells you,
"'Tu ' hotter than the tea!,
...papi."

Universal D' Grace

When one child is hurt
then the universe is a waste of space
for everything is responsible
for allowing this universal disgrace.

She Loved a Man

The first was youth,
playful and full of dreams.

The second was pure lust,
legs of hers did tremble like never before, or since.

The third was genuine friendship,
never was there a judgement.

The fourth was a teacher,
she saw what is was like to be human outside of America.

The fifth was truly beautiful,
though a face like gold, he touched her heart with pure, sweet rose petals.

The sixth the future yet holds,
He though will have a time of it.
