Miracle

Through many endless miles of line, I found you, somehow.
From all the many faces that I have seen on my computer
screen, I am drawn to you like a bee to honey.
Curiously, I stare fondly at your picture wondering what
is the magic concealed behind your eyes.
Such a magnificent little gem that you are, I do not
feet worthy of you.
Although, your beauty intimidates me, I feel that I must
gather up the courage to discover the treasures
secretively hidden within the beauty that is so
enchanting to me.

Mystery

If there is any truth in what is said by some, I should never have these feelings for

you in such a short time.

"Why do I feel so mystified by the sight of you?"

I ask myself so many times in a day.

Don't know how to act or respond in the moment of enchantment.

In a whirlwind of confusion, words are hard to describe the magic stirring in me.

Don't want to be too pushy, too afraid to loose the beauty so enchanting.

Maybe out of fear, I want to flee the madness.

Should I take the chance to find out if this is love or a friend possibly blinding us as

one?

Only time will uncover the mystery.

Don'T Judge Me!

Because of my rugged features, chisled by my life's
experiences, you should not fear me.
Because I babble on like some kind of lunatic, when I
first meet you, I'm sane. Your beauty enchants me.
Because of my macho walk and stand, I'm not
                                                   looking for trouble.
Don't judge me by my clothes! I'm confortable.
To really understand me, take a deep look into my
soul, you'll see a whole different world than what
                                                    you expected.

No Regret

Lucky to have found her,
But unfortunate to have lost her in such a short time.
First comes pain, then the need for revenge eats at my very existence.
I stand in front of the animal who murdered my Shelly.
Heart rapidly pounding and sweaty palms.
Eerie click, and then seconds later a deathly silence.
Sweet revenge is mine.
Down on the ground, the animal falls in his own blood.
What an injustice!
Twenty-five years is what I receive for the murder.
No will to live, I am confined in this concrete jungle of prison, longing to die,
Solely to be reunited with my love.

Dad

Mostly anyone thinks his or her dad is the greatest.
Growing up with this man, I came to realize through
the years he is the greatest man on earth, and no one
has a dad like mine.
One who seems to be afraid of nothing, a man who challenges
all obstacles in life to learn something now.
He has a heart as big as his two hundred and some pound frame.
Through the laugher and a firm hand when I stepped out of line, he
taught me the values of a nurturing family and the virtues of life.
So by all accounts, my dad is the greatest on earth.
Why, we are not father and son by blood.
He took me into his house when no one else wanted me and
raised me as his son.

Soldiers

More brawns than brains, the young soldiers charge into battle.
Many of them will die in their struggles with their enemies,
while others will realize the reality of war and never return
to this hellish domain.
Bombs pelt the ground from above them, the soldiers's heart race
for survival with little faith of ever surviving.
Gaining the experience needed more will survive this time around.
The soldiers will be honored with their feats in battle that will tell of
their struggles long after they are gone.
Some crippled by the travesty of war, while others are emotionally
scarred for life by the haunting memories of their fallen comrades.
So many conflicts before them usually never amounting to anything,
except for the casualties of war.
The experienced soldiers wonder if it was really worth it.
People mourn for the fallen soldiers at their memorial.
Sadly, many truly do not understand their sacrifices, except for
the ones dearest to those heroes who gave their lives.
Asked now, and from so many before them, the sadden heart
ask, "Why?"

Forever

Hey cruddles, do not look upon me with a heavy heart, you should think of the love that we
shared, most do not find in a lifetime.
What was an impossible dream to me at first came true when I first met you with no regret
ever since.
Honey, even though the miles between us seems to be so far out of reach for you, I am by
your side, and will always stand by you as we did joined with love.
Being the kind of man that I was, I never really expressed my thanks for you being there in
the hard times. If only you could hear me, I would say you were my little piece of heaven
on earth and thank you.
Honey, do not think you are alone, because I am by your side standing as we did as one
loving soul.
My little ray of sunshine let me make this solemn promise from beyond the grave that we will
meet again in heven to rekinkle our loving bond, many never experience in a lifetime.
If there is a moment that a tear must fall, honey think of me standing by your side cherishing
the moments that we shared and waiting for you to return to my arms.
However, please do hurry for me. I will wait for eternity for the girl who made my dreams
come true.
