No Regret

Lucky to have found her, But unfortunate to have lost her in such a short time. First comes pain, then the need for revenge eats at my very existence. I stand in front of the animal who murdered my Shelly. Heart rapidly pounding and sweaty palms. Eerie click, and then seconds later a deathly silence. Sweet revenge is mine. Down on the ground, the animal falls in his own blood. What an injustice! Twenty-five years is what I receive for the murder. No will to live, I am confined in this concrete jungle of prison, longing to die, Solely to be reunited with my love.
