My Spinning Stars

The sky is my home, shining with light
The moon is my mirror and the planets my eyes
Even heavenly Venus is nowhere as bright
The white dwarves and red giants spread my beauty with their cries
Jupiter thunders and red light dances
The stars cry in triumph as they go supernova
Bright flashes of fire like an armored knight's lances
Blinding in brilliance like a gold hypernova
The Milky Way trembles as it turns in time
Flashing with passion and tormented in place
The wrath of red Mars smolders in line
As it circles and flies across outer space
In all of the universe I reign over the large and small
But our galaxy will always be my favorite out of all

The Journey Continues: the Dragon of Haute-Savoie

The dragon and his rider knight
Follow the clouds all through the kingdom
Smiles follow the dragon around
and the knight's soul glows with power
Above the kingdom Haute-Savoie

The meadows green and lush with grass,
the rivers churning white with froth
The moon sings her silent song as
the dragon flies past

A shadow wavers across the ground
Foxes look up and the high-flying birds look down
Blue and silver scales flash bright
The knight laughs in the silent sky

The protector and her dragon steed
Her sword polished and gleaming
and his scales glittering and shining
Patrolling the skies for their enemies

On the ground a boy looks up
As the dragon passes through the sky
His eyes grow light and as he waves
the dragon and knight soar by
Above the kingdom of Haute-Savoie

When It's Time To Go

When the rain cries out in the daylight
and the rivers run white with foam
When the wind in the trees is screaming
That's when it's time to go

When the world is falling apart
And the sky turns darker than blue
When the mountains shake with thunder
That's when it's time to go

I will run with the air in my lungs
I will step with the shoes on my feet
I will run to the end of the world
And never return

It's time to go
Take your heart and your soul
And run till the ground runs with your blood
Till your feet are covered in red

Don't stop or it will be too late
When the stars come crashing down
You will still run
And the fabric of life will part for you

Keep running
To find your way forward
When the world burns with fury
That's when you will already be gone

Dying For a Final Dream

Hopelessly I watch
As you are
Pulled away from my
Passionate embrace.
Icy swords carve fiery
Lines across my
Yearning heart.

Empires will rise and fall.
Violence will rage
Everywhere, but I will come to
Rescue you.

Night will not stop me, you
Entrusted your heart to me. My thirst for
Vengeance will not
End until you are safe in my arms, but
Right now, I am dying and I... can't.... come..... for...... you...........

Blue

Describe a color without ever using the name.
The color of soft rain on a day without the sun. The color of ocean waves when struck with golden light. The color of a girl with the weight of the world on her shoulders. The color of a boy crying in a corner while people pass him by. The color of the sad smile on the face of the girl who knew that the love came too late. The color of the sky above the clouds, where the air is clean and the breeze fresh. The color of a diamond reflecting the rain. The color of her tempestuous eyes and the way they glint like gold on a storm tossed sea when she smiles. The color of boy alone in a field of light and dark and the way his shoulders slump with tiredness. The color of the sound wind chimes make in light rain. The color of the cold and the way it wraps you in shades of itself. The color of a pale flower burdened and saddened by dew. The color of a small flower that appears first after the cold, its small petals radiant while it magnifies the invisible colors of the wet snow around it. The color of her his eyes when he remembers her smile. The color of a morning shrouded in fog and mystery. The color of the bruise she left on his heart. The color of her burdened heart when she left him for his own good. The color of love after it cools down and no one can figure out how to bring the passion back. The color of dark secrets whispered in the dead of night. The color of rainbow as it fades and leaves everyone with a sad afterglow. The color of her thoughts when she is tentatively hanging on to a happiness that she doesn’t know will last.
The color blue.

Two Days Too Late

Failure:
I am such an idiot.
I am such a wuss.
I allowed myself to fail
Without a second glance.

Excuses:
I forgot it all.
I never gave it a second thought.
Told myself I would do it,
And now it's too late to be done.

Problems:
I messed up somebody's life.
I forgot what I promised I would do.
I'm two days too late,
It's all over now.

Finished:
What will I do now?
I guess that remains to be seen.
I will not give in to excuses.
I will take my punishment
Whatever it may be.

Apologies:
It's too late to say it.
I failed, I messed up,
I don't deserve to be forgiven,
But I'm sorry anyway.

Can you even look at me now?
I don't think I deserve your trust.

Rain Under a White Sky

A white sky cries
over verdant green leaves:
Shimmering to and fro
with each kiss of clean, cold air.
Each breath is green things growing,
water seeping into soil,
and the white sky's sobs.
Each tear is as clear as a diamond
glinting humbly as it falls.
Small silver mirrors caress earth's face
and bathe the lush forests in life.
The gentle rush of water on leaves
gives way to the murmur of rain falling on grass.
A clear piccolo resounds through the forest
and little, trilling birds answer back,
their hidden eyes watching the diamonds fall.
A blanket of clean droplets cover everything;
nourishing in their sweet touch.
A white sky is bright over the land,
glowing dully as she reminisces and remembers
old love and new life.
And a white sky cries on.
