Shall We Dance Again

Dare I take another sip?
Shall I let you consume me once again?
My lips meet yours, and you fill me with all your poison.
That sudden warmth that courses through my veins.
At first its all fun and games, we laugh ,we joke.
You intertwine yourself with mine, and away we begin to dance.
Will we stumble?
But of course.
Will I be forced to the ground again?
Perhaps.

This game we play when I'm alone, you always know when to appear.
This thing that lies inside my chest and wants to feel your warmth.
But this thing that lies inside my head, remembers every wound you've ever left.

Oh man, here comes, that time when all just spins, and all I know is you, I feel.

Do I let go and let you lead, or shall I push you out.

I press my face to yours, I let my gaze meet yours.
My fingers find yours again, I hope this time is different.
I'm tired of the spinning but I'll ask you for another dance.
This time the bottom and I, I hope we don't meet.

Sometimes I Wonder

Sometimes I wonder, wonder what you saw in me?
I wonder if you remember, most of all.
I wonder if I was just too much, or if it was just a dream.

Cause I remember, I remember the way your smile felt, I remember how bright a room could be, and ooh do I remember.

I remember the flight my heart would take when your lips would touch my face, and how you could touch a part of me I never knew was tangible, and how it felt so right.

You know what else I remember?
I remember when I wasn't enough, I remember when I wasn't your first choice.
I remember sitting on the back burner of your heart with never a chance to boil.
I remember carrying you in the front of mine, like a song you can never not sing, where the melody would melt my ice, and the chorus burned through my mind.

I remember the night I dried your tears, where my arms were wrapped around you and you shed your skin.
When you showed me soul, so bright and beautiful, but like the guardian in Aladdin you said look but don't touch.
And just like that your sandy walls came crashing in while you spit me out.

I wonder if you think of me, cause I, I think about you.
I wonder if you smile, I wonder if you share your soul and all its beauty, while you remain strong as the beast.

I hope you smile oh so true, I hope your happy, the way you once made me.

Sometimes I wonder, I wonder about you

Shine Like the Stars

I look to bright sky to watch the glisten of the stars that may no longer be,
just like your voice, like your words replaying in my head.

Their light never seems to vanish or fade from this reality,
just the way your memories never seem to leave the confines of my mind.

Like the songs we sang from our hearts and bled from our souls.
Time can heal our wounds but the scars we'll always wear.

Forever in my abyss we'll live on and shine like the stars in the night

Within These Hazel Eyes

My eyes locked with yours, I watch them fade to brown.
I see how that brown weighs on you, hurts you, crushes you, holds you down.

I look you up and down, your're nothing like what I imagined.
I never knew how you would look, But somehow I just don't think this fits.

I can feel them fade to green, your blood how it starts to boil.
All because you know that I can see your past, hell, I can feel it too.
I can see where you went wrong, what and who wronged you, the scars that are left behind.
Just as that brown starts to creep, I can see that green push back since we both know, your hands have never should have been down, you center never exposed.

That brown begins to creep but does not overtake.
The green will always rush like the fire in your soul.
Will you let it burn you, or maybe some one else? Or will the weight of brown smother it out for now?

Will we ever be able to decide, will we ever make them balance within our hazel eyes?

The Thing Inside My Head

This thing, it sits inside my head, crazy it drives me.
It runs and runs, yet I can get away.
Sometimes it spins and leaves me dizzy.

This thing you'll never see or touch, yet it always leaves a mark.
You can't take it away, and I can't seem to put it down.
There are times where it just takes over, and it consumes me from the inside out.
It silences my voice, and claws its way through me.

It's someone I've always known, and they've grown to be a part of me for oh so long.
I no longer know which one of us is the parasite that sucks the other dry.

Sometimes I try to watch it from a far, But I'm 'fraid to say the leash just isn't all that long.
There are times where I can drag it along, but these muscles can only pull for so long, before its claws can reach my skin once again.
By then I crave it's embrace and we'll lay together 'til I can fight again.

I pray one day, one day I'll Pray, for a fight that I can win

Tell Me What You See

Tell me what you see.
Do you see what lies underneath my armor?
Do you see the demons that lie behind my eyes?

The demons and angels that lie within me leave their mark.
They hide in the hazel sea if you can find them,
some live in the scars left on my skin.

Tell what you see.
Can you see the rivers that flow with raging rapids or the puddles left from ones that have dried?
Can you see the colors?

The waters run deep, some surface from a place inside me.
Their salty flows whisper as they race through the woods,
all different shades of blue and red.

Tell me what you see.
Do you see my broken wings?
Do you see the weight if my sword.

I knightress from another world left without her flight.
My sword that waves and sometimes left to drag,
all i carry into battle.

Tell me what you see.

Find the Pack

Howl at the moon, howl at the moon, so we can hear your cries too.
Howl at the moon when you see that cat smile, when your heart weighs so heavy and you cant go on, Howl at the moon so I may find you.

We leave our marks behind us as we journey through these woods, trying to find that thing that no words can describe.
Follow your gut some say, play it safe say the others, but you, you're on your own path.
Just never lose sight of that thing in sky, that will guide you through the night.

Howl at the moon, howl at the moon, so we can hear your cries too.
Howl at the moon when you see that cat smile, when your heart weighs so heavy you cant go on, Howl at the moon so I may find you.

Knightress

She cried out for love.
It echoed in the dark.
She even turned to prayer, arms to help her stand once again.

She once stood tall and proud armor untouched sword in hand.
The monsters she's brought down.
All but one, and that one weakened her.
It lived inside her, no sword or shield could help.

Her legs weak and her arms tired, the other soldiers with whom she fought long gone.
The dark around her screaming so loud, with no voice to be heard.

She starts to fall,
Alone she cries.

A story in which only she will know the end.

Within My Walls

I sit inside these walls, a place you’ll never be,
within these walls there is only me.
This is my place of everything, that only I can imagine.
In here I come apart and fall back together again,
I get to have adventure, and follow my own trend.
Within these walls there is only me,
I sit inside these walls, a place you’ll never be.
