Within These Hazel Eyes

My eyes locked with yours, I watch them fade to brown. I see how that brown weighs on you, hurts you, crushes you, holds you down. I look you up and down, your're nothing like what I imagined. I never knew how you would look, But somehow I just don't think this fits. I can feel them fade to green, your blood how it starts to boil. All because you know that I can see your past, hell, I can feel it too. I can see where you went wrong, what and who wronged you, the scars that are left behind. Just as that brown starts to creep, I can see that green push back since we both know, your hands have never should have been down, you center never exposed. That brown begins to creep but does not overtake. The green will always rush like the fire in your soul. Will you let it burn you, or maybe some one else? Or will the weight of brown smother it out for now? Will we ever be able to decide, will we ever make them balance within our hazel eyes?
