When the Crazies Occur

Math is really stressing
It isn’t such a blessing

But what if this was happening?

Aunt Love broke up
With Uncle Caring, yup.

My best friend Motivation
Got a crush on Hallucination.

And I heard that Ms. Persuasion Bell
Married Mr. Laziness T. Ell

What if my neighbor Boredom
Was heading out to somewhere foreign?

My friend named Inspiration Hazy
Just used a car, isn’t that crazy!

And Love and Hate
Now best friends, but a little late.

But it was all a dream, not off the hook
I awoke sleeping on my math book!

Sorrow Pain

It hurts when others tease me
And others call me names.
I am myself
Why can’t others make no blames?

It’s not my fault
That sometimes I’m not happy.
It’s the fault of all of them
Who used to bully me.

It’s in my blood to stick out
and be different.
But, no, today there
Can’t be any difference.

Has no one
Ever heard
Of such called inner beauty?
Maybe they need to hear that word.

It hurts
When I’m teased for being unlike others
I call it sorrow pain,
But no one ever wonders.

Wild Heart, Wild Dream

Gusting wind
And riding strong.
Float up high,
And make life long.

Her untamed hair
Floated out behind her.
She rode on faith,
So quick, a blur.

Standing tall,
Amongst the trees,
Giant monsters,
And unheard pleas.

She never quit,
Her care not stopped.
Majestic as a queen,
Her high chin never dropped.

And let her be a model
For all those who believe,
That someday all their dreams,
They will achieve.

And glory to her,
Who was a wild heart
And a wild dream.
Whose strength is a work of art.

Mystery Song - a Haiku and Poem To Go With

Mysteries are songs
That play in silent meadows
With a wind that blows

~~~~~~~~
Mysteries are calm creatures
That wait for their time
Mysteries don’t care
What happen
Mysteries are surprises
That spring from cupboard doors
Mysteries don’t lie
They give clues
Mysteries are songs
That play in silent meadows
Mysteries play
With a wind that blows
Mysteries are waiting
And wanting
To be discovered
By a soul like you
Long Times
The blue, bright blue
Of another summer day
The blue, deep blue
Of insisting to stay
And then going
The pink of a flower
That just had a dew shower
The yellow of nectar
The bee its collector
Flying fast
The navy of night
Stars giving off light
Then the moon
Silver, put me in a swoon
The red of the blood in my cut.
The orange of the sweet fruit
Trying to find a new root
Planted
The brown of the earth
Because it’s all worth
Giving thanks for it all
And the long time I’ve spent enjoying these
T'Was That
It was one long day
I thought in one way,
“Oh, please let me have mastered
The skill of an actor!”
And then of course all emotions
That just flood all good notions.
Just thinking to me
“I’d better not be
That stupid”
For the love of Cupid
Then it was
That I thought I could create my own laws!
T’was that I would never forget
That I could pose a threat
To myself
To act as nimbly as an elf.
Why?
“My oh my”
T’was that I’d never remember
That chilly November
~This one's silly. It never happened~
No Question Here
Unhook the hook
Let life show the way
It pays to be poor
It pays to live today
And how could this never be a life,
A light, one more spared.
Because I never even needed to ask
You won’t ever lie to me.
Collapse the panel
Let the wind just blow
Us in the right direction
Let the water flow
And why did you never ponder
How life could be so magical
Because I never needed to understand your eyes
Your eyes just told me the story.
Shut the windows
Let the sun shine
Into our hearts
Into your last line
And because I loved you
Our future is promised
In the hands of love
And of truth
Shut the door to lies, open the windows to truth
Let life be your guide.
Moonlit Nights
Moonlit nights remind me
Of the days so far away.
When gathered all together,
To sing under the moon.
All moonlit nights
Make me think of the
Friends and family
Whom are so close to me.
Lovely moonlit nights,
Make me ponder
Of the river’s still flow,
Slowly, going, flowing.
Bright moonlit nights,
Make me feel
Very, very close to
All my good friends.
Grand moonlit nights,
Fit for a queen,
Are the world’s
Greatest dream.
Rising Glory
The sun
Creeps up
Over the
Horizon.
I watch it glow
And grow.
It’s high in the sky
Now.  And I know
That it’s noon.
Gradually lower
Fading away.
Glancing up
For it’s late
Afternoon.
But now
There’s no
Sun.
There’s only
A moon
Shedding light
Over dark.
And thankful
I am
For this day.
