Rising Glory

The sun
Creeps up
Over the
Horizon.
I watch it glow
And grow.
It’s high in the sky
Now. And I know
That it’s noon.
Gradually lower
Fading away.
Glancing up
For it’s late
Afternoon.
But now
There’s no
Sun.
There’s only
A moon
Shedding light
Over dark.
And thankful
I am
For this day.

I love this, how a day travels by following the sun in your poem :)

Thank you. It is so great to wake up before or with the sun and seeing it come up.
