Richard Smothers Poem
Green sticky flower
the one I yearn to devour.
White crystals so bright
what a delight.
Orange hair I love to snare
but to many like to stare.
It taste so great I cannot wait.
Too many southern people
that don't need another steeple.
Tested again how long has it been?
How long must I wait for the oil to evaporate.
The futures not clear my name has been
smeared.
For now, Please leave me alone cause there's
no one at home.

Richard Smothers Poem
After vows I uttered many moons ago.
Arose two shadows more greater than Van Gogh.
Out of the darkness and into the light these two
shadows grow taller after every sunset delight.
When night follows and their away
these so called shadows
Cloud my dreams with sweetness and light.
With hope someday they will fancy me
without mindfulness spite.
