Unwanted Flower

Green sticky flower
the one I yearn to devour.
White crystals so bright
what a delight.
Orange hair I love to snare
but to many like to stare.
It taste so great I cannot wait.
Too many southern people
that don't need another steeple.
Tested again how long has it been?
How long must I wait for the oil to evaporate.
The futures not clear my name has been
smeared.
For now, Please leave me alone cause there's
no one at home.

Thank you for the explanation. Where I live it is (rightfully) also used for a load of illnesses, including depression.

This poem is about marijuana, and how hard working Americans lose their jobs (mandatory drug screenings) over a legal (some U.S. states) natural plant.

Intriguing poem you have written here. I like that, poems that have many layers I cannot yet decipher. Welcome to PoetrySoup!
