A Long Way To Here

And the exhausting calamity of the twinkling snow
Frozen solid and thawing beneath the sky
Of gray turns to the palest of blue
With the sun so glistening gently by its rays

And the past flows like a shadow through the mist
Sparkling dew of spring’s once lonely gaze
For then was the time in which emotion stagger
To now his beating of my hearts electrical charade

And in the morning’s tears I notice the reflection
Of my own face, older, wise
And through the trees I hear a voice singing
Past the unknown and into the motioning twinkling of all that was lost
And found in the valley of the darkest shadow
And through the lonely hearts dizzy dance
Amidst the falling sky of a forgotten dream
Out of the waves of ruin of the wondering stare

And she amidst the shore collapsing into the glistening ground
Until all that there will be, through these newborn eyes
Is that same melody floating through the awakening breeze
Until the only sound surpassing the expression of the earth
Is the voice of my love -
Calling me home.

You Stand Upon a Beautiful Mystery - Fibonacci Sequence

If the truth be told
do Fibonacci patterns puzzle
  like the sunflower seeds stumble
or tiny fronds of ferns spiral
into the golden ratio of the galaxy

     sparking forth a cardiac rhythm
   peaking with a ventricular stimulation
  a tricuspid valve squeezing swiftly
pumping life into collapsing lungs
flickering light into a newborn baby's eye

rainbow feathers twinkling through a shadowy sunrise
floating lustrous and lighter than air
a robin's egg bluer than a Caribbean horizon
waves humming the shore into a sandy trance
as baby turtles swim towards a turquoise sea

or sitting atop a sturdy branch
   overlooking a radiant redwood tree
yellow flowers demi-pointe their petals below her trunk
as tangling branches reach for a starlit sky
crickets sing a sonata to ambassadors of another age

how an opus of prismatic motion
tumbles below a swirling cloudy sky
  while miniscule concertos humming
but a riddle rotating in an ebony abyss.

His Whisper Led Me Home

Oh keeper of my heart's beating rhyme
For which I long for
With every ounce of electricity
Stimulating the rhythmic pattern of light
Shining from each crevice of my fragile soul

Split in half from the ages ago
When the illumination from the sky came raining down
Tumbling past each and every sparkle of the notion
Of two chasers of the light encompassed into one
Stumbling upon the earth in every which way
The wind blowing to the sound of a lyrical flight
For which my ears rang such a song

And in my dreams I was but consciously aware
Of a child entranced by a sight of a figure
That my heart was calling in a distant delight
And when the shower would part from the familiar wake

While despite the flowing and the tragic affair
I was but no one's as for always there was more
To the astounding memory of a set of eyes
Which spoke but a reminder to the unspeakable truth
Speaking through the wind in the trees
Waking me with the sun's shattering splendor
Tumbling from the sky, a soul dancing in the dark

The lullaby that once sang me to sleep
Through the constant searching of the heart
To the falling to the knees in prayer for longing
And then once eyes opened with the subtle recognition
That confronted with the figure of the being
The longing of a child's heart suddenly apparent in the present time

Upon the whisper of the hearts calling
Sparking into the majesty of the flesh now colliding
Past the very depths, unstoppable, unbroken
Flying through the sky while engaged in basking delight
The reuniting of destiny's pleasure, flutes delighting in a distant shore

And as my body stumbles past the present's wake
Into a dreams lulling in tune with the rhyme
And the shattering of earth may stumble my bones
But his love and our one light
Simultaneous as one dazzling splendor
For, forever I shall remain.

Upon Sleep

And as the world closes its eyes
Falling into the quiet of a dream
Wind flashing its reverence against his brow
The chill of the Earth stumbles towards the flashing spring

And as the song of the birds drifts past the darkness of time
The clouds masked by the blackened sky
My heart but a beat to love's pure rhyme
Fueling towards the morning light of his stardust eyes

And while he dreams allow me one delight
That I whisper promises of everlasting sight
A world filled with colors and motion
Fueled by the inspiration of love's everlasting devotion

And when he wakes to the rays of the sun
His heart beating in time to my own
As our souls arise from the lands of afar
He and I - simply just are.

They Will Laugh

And when the humming of the wind
Is relaxing upon the wisp of every solitary hair
That for ever shakes among the midst
Of each tantalizing promise of the falling rain
Upon which the grass is breathing
Stretching for each momentary stride
Below your feet now covered with the tears

Streaming from the sky
Past the fretting of the clouds

And sparkle of each falling drop from your eyes
As the world tumbled from all that was known
And all that was seen and shown
And the childhood dancing upon the warm shores
Of a place in which the world was won
To the imagination and the fascination
To every momentary contemplation

That inspires the electricity of a thought
Of the booming within your brow
Giving ways to the impulsive heaving
Of the breath that your lungs breathe within and without
And two and forth moving ever so silently
Writhing to adore, begging to restore

That which destiny imparts its beautiful wisdom
Creating the centuries worth of love and wholeness
Of the beating of two hearts
Where the streaming rain, for those coming together
Two shall part to the separate distance of a fogging shore

We are falling forever
Yet the world watches in wonder.
And floating with wings may be joyful
Yet those without the comfort of the feathers in the sky
May find their bones shattered against the pounding of the oceans wave
A shore suddenly covered in betrayal and promise's brokenness

For those of destiny's mark, of the beautiful entrancing of the universe's collide
Saviors of the souls, of two hearts beating as one
And still the ventricular impulse of the bloods flooding rage
Bound and separate of fate's dismal charade

And my love - we cannot save them from the ground.

So we will dance in the splendor, flying through the sky from above
With the stars reflected in each dancing feather

And the broken hearts will look to the cosmos and smile.

Embracing from our love from afar.

Where we as one remain evermore.

He Has Me

Does he know that when he has me?

That I will love him until every star in the sky shatters
Until the ocean's waves dissolve to dust
After the mountains crumble in glory
The trees of the forest climb to a humbling stop

And with each speckle of everlasting heat
Generated by the devotion of my heart
I will soar my magic through the sky
Until it lands on a softly upon a star

And there he will find my voice
Dancing majestically through the night
Whispering to him in the graceful spring breeze
Embracing him in its enchanting light

Until our fingers return once again
To the place in which they have always belonged
Tangled among the rulers of fate
Our bodies a medium of a dazzling song.

For now and for always
No matter the time or the place
Or the stumble of life’s gratuitous play
For through the feat of love
Inspired by your brilliant illumination

For there I will find him always
As his adoration guides me through the dark]
Everlasting through the dusk

Until his song calls me home.

When the Stars Blink

Does he know that when the stars blink?

They blink for all of the enchantment
Which radiates from his heart
Of his spirit
His gesture through the air as sight
Inspires the energy of the motion -
Of the celestial delight
His brilliance circles through as shine
His magic illuminates the night

And suddenly the space is but dark
Yet the sky is in a slumbering haze
With the spectacle of the cosmos
Singing to delight in his voice

And if I listen close
Past the calming of the trees
Swinging in the breeze
Dancing forth with a vengeful tease

I hear the sound of the heavens voice
Peace fills my heart and my humanly wonder
Until I close my eyes and all turns to black

And when my eyes wander open
The world shimmers in his hands.

When the World Wakes

Does he know that when my world wakes?

The sun shines through the window aglow
As we embrace goodbye in our dreams
Whispering "I'll see you so soon"
Until the rays of the light crash down in between

When I find that the visions end ever so soon
With the flooding of twilight's residual light
Now the solar beauty infiltrates reality
While the warmth of your love hops gracefully in dawn's rights

And as the stretching flight of the dewdrops make wave
While the birds awake with the lulling of song
And your whisper tickles my warm tired eyes
Lashing fluttering as the world's color takes flight

And all in this world as I stir to the dawn
There is no more beautiful sight

Then the frenzy of the world's splendor - orchestrated by his love's might.

When I Dream In the Day

Does he know that when I dream in the day?

The earth fades past the crown of your smile
A whirlwind in the reality awakened in front of my daze
And all that was once silent now motion and spry
As you, the ringleader for every movement’s spark

In this moment when you are all that there is
Steadfast in the notion of the whirlwind of breeze
Reality a continuum of time traveling wake
Shakes rocked and backed by the brilliant light
Your presence is the universe's calm of chaotic sight

For suddenly the moment is overtaken by a thought
Infiltrated by your presence
Unleashing upon my breast a vengeance
Body shaking in a frenzies wave
Caught in a dream of a distant array

Until there is but a dance of shimmer through my feet
Body motion endless towards the rushing energy
Of the reverie happening before my eyes

And suddenly my heart leaps

There continues the day’s flight.
