He Is Everything

It makes me smile when i see him
All my worries fall away
Nothing but fun while we are together
I see no boundaries to seclusion
I have no hurt or pain to think of
Just pure happiness and thrill.

I like the way he laughs at most things i say
The trust is incomparable yet defined
We share rooms but not beds when we travel
He shares stories from home and i listen with great ease
We are never apart for more than a week.

We live for the day but dream for the future
We moan and act like kids so sill but so freeing
We can tell each other anything
Our time is precious so we spend it wisely
He is everything to me and i wish him well.

He has seen my pain yet never knew how to help
He doesn't do hugs but he is there and that's ok
He likes the fact i am a good listener
I will listen to him all day if that's what it took
I would be lost without him in my life.

Rural Way

Rural so inspirational, how beautiful and pure,
Green pastures and the golden sun shines down on pretty lands,
Hills and rocky spaces blessed with native greens around it.
Stand on the edge of every rock to see far and wide,
The breeze swooning along the fields in utter content silence,
Such joy to see lush hamlets, distant woodlands.
Gathered nests in trees with birds singing so tranquil,
We come and go but rural stays, we enjoy the beauty of this rural way.

Nature's Path

Walking lightly through nature's path,
i adore the sight of every tree,
I begin a journey of calm and solace,
Not a care in the world around these streams,
Trickling sounds of the water against rocky formations,
A slight breeze feels fresh upon my cheeks.
The foundation of an old cottage lays bare for all to see,
Gone are the days of preserving history in mother nature,
Beside this bench i sit upon unveils a collections of swans and geese,
Calling upon me to produce something….anything in favour to be fed.
This pleasant land i am privileged to walk upon,
Many have walked before me-many will walk after me,
Sharing elation's and admiration together along nature's path.

Nan

Five years ago today my Nan should've been 90
But instead i sat with her while she died in her nighty
The silence in the room was all that was left
But i understand the special time i spent with her,as she drew her last breath
Her soul had gone but her body still lay
I would do anything to get, just one more day
She was kind and loving and taught me well
Its times like this i suppose i shouldn't dwell
If only i had known what was to come
I'd have give her my life and had more fun
She may have been old but age is but a number
She was a gran, a sister and a beautiful mother
I have her picture hanging pride of place
For many years she will be in that favourite place
Many happy returns wherever you are
Im sure youre looking down at me from your special star
When i see a robin i think of you
The stories you told me were beautiful too
You sang me to sleep when i was so so small
And i thank you for showing how to stand tall
We had great times and shared so much
I will never forget your loving touch

Battered Not Broken

Battered but not broken
It's the fear they have awoken.
The bruises hurt the tears commence
It's only there actions that make no sense.
A life full of pain your head filled with blame
You curl up in a ball it's how you keep sane.
 Go,take your mind and body
 Go,be the chance you take.
All your happiness will be revealed
When you make that crucial break.
 Don't be broken take control
This could be the last chance for your parole.
You are better than this don't fear the fist
If you go right now you will skip death’s list.

Humanity

I hope to live another day
Where I can help someone else in any way.
An urge to smile and care for a while
And eternally go the extra mile.
Sometimes I know I will take a wrong turn
But that doesn't mean I cannot learn.
Mistakes I've made in memories that fade
My humanity can not ever be delayed.

Children Sit Down

Children sit down to eat food at home
A strong suggestion that no one uses their phone.
No ipads no vines as they pass the time
Let's talk and laugh to know they are fine.
One kick hear one kick there
You pass the carrots with a smiling stare.
They speak of days they play with friends
Actions and adventures playfulness sends.
The deep devotion you show your kids
Is of utmost importance and first on your list.
They slip away into rooms they sleep
To have conversations that can be deep.
Just hope they're safe and know your there
For the times they will need to know you really care.

Happy Days

I'm so happy its contagious
Smiling so freely i transfer it to you
No judgement this day
I call on you for good times
We enjoy our time together and laugh
I'm on cloud 87 and nothing can touch me
Breezing along so elated
Your rosy cheeks are glowing
My upbeat aura is mesmerising
I will pick you up and keep you there
Sunshine is in all our lives
We just need to find it and share it
Happy faces, happy people
Happy days

The Artist

The artist knows of what they preform
The gift they have is embedded when born.
Each travelling show they take a bow
The everlasting applause they receive is then and now.
Many awards or just a review
Is how they begin to write lines new.
A performance well reached of those who speak
They say you entertain but never too bleak.
A stage is a space that needs your face
An artist like you connects with that place.
Many fans that wish you well from month to year
The very best are the ones that buy you with cheer.

Remorse

The remorse is furiously ravaging
torment passes through my mind as I lay awake at night
gathered in my guilt are the acts I have carried out
yet I love what I did but my emotions are raw
pleasured moments have led to my downfall

This grief of my soul has edged away in times of lewdness
This guilt i speak of is in me but i learn to control it
I want to be punished but I still want my life
releasing this pain will only end my life, is it pain i deserve

I have so much goodness in me but this dreaded curse I have just will not dissolve
I am a human of many sides taken in by beauty and feckless towards one's feelings
I observe then seek my capabilities in such twisted rage
grant me a way through to be better.. But don't forgive me

I want to be so much yet I am cornered, trapped by my life's choices
I could have been so much, doubting even my forgiveness would make me feel happy
I hunger for a new start of a different life other than my own
I wish to be someone else now, i wanted to change once
taking the moment to understand why..why me..why them
I have so much emotion that my eyes stay open at night
maybe what I'm looking for is the night to end and my eyes to close
