Dear past me,
Who smiles so bright?
Who has always spread her wings,
And taken flight.
Your eyes are shining blue like the sea,
Looks like you are;
As happy as can be.
Dear present me,
Why are you so sad,
Has something gone wrong?
Something gone bad,
Looks like you have lost your way.
And you may never,
Live another day.
Dear future me,
I hope you are well,
And I hope you are alive.
I hope you smile so everyone can tell;
That you've made it past.
The good and the bad,
And you've finally won this battle at last.

When I first met you
I felt like I had known you forever,
telling you my secrets
and what I didn't want ever.
You listened to me.
I bet you thought I'd never end.
Who would have thought
we would become more than just friends.
Over a period of time
I got to know the real you.
A boy so caring and gentle
with a heart so true.
You've survived your life
with hurt and loneliness by your side.
I told you I'd never leave
because of the feelings I have inside.
I know you
like no one I have ever known,
and sometimes I wonder
what I'd do if you were gone?

Tears of blood fall from my broken heart, i never thought we would be apart.
When he held me and said "Forever" Now that you're gone I know you meant "Never".
Saying you love me with that look in your eye and that was a cold hearted lie.
Your tender touch, a soft kiss two things about you I will miss.
As i sit here thinking about you, my face is wet with tears past due.
I should've cried a long time ago but I loved you so.
I know they said love is blind but I had only you on my mind.
A hurt so deep it cuts like a knife but wounds heal and I'll go on with my life.

I never understood what all the feelings have to do with life.
But then i met you, you taught me what love is,
I fell hard for you, like really hard.
You made me feel so special, and loved.
I hoped for it to never end,
Then February came a month before our one year,
She came back into your life…
She stole you…
I acted like i didn’t care, but deep deep down.
I was destroyed… Lost... Broken.
I needed you when that was going on…
You left when i needed you the most…
Now, here it is March.
You say i still love you Tierra,
I want to be with you,
Where are you, then?
I always loved you,
I never left,
I always cared.
Hell, i still do.
I would do anything to be with you, again.
But, i continue to hide away from what i feel inside.
I love you and always will.

With all this bottled up pain inside,
I hide.
I fake my smile on days, that feel depressed.
Although it’s not always there,
I cry and I cry a lot.
Why did you have to hurt me like you did?
Why did you have to lie?
Why did you have to cheat?
Why say you love me, when all you did was destroy?
Why?
You come back expecting me to fall back to your will.
Well, not this time.
I’m happy with the one i like.
I’m happy talking to him.
I’m happy in general.
As for you, you poor poor broken down person,
All you did was break me down to rebuild yourself.
But not this time, i’m not going back.
You had your chance you blew it.
I’ve moved on.
So should you.
But as I sit here and write this poem,
I realize you have moved on.
But she destroyed you, like you destroyed me.
I tried, to warn you.
But you insisted you go back to the one who hurt you before.
Now, here I am happy as i can be.
And you always texting me say “I love you”
I don’t respond why would I?
I don’t love you anymore.
You hurt me.
I thought i would never be able to love or even like someone again.
My thoughts were wrong.
I moved on.
Why, can’t you just leave and not bother me?
Let me be happy.
Ask yourself why you did what you did.
Don’t blame me.

Walking through the rain,
I try to forget the pain.
I try to ignore the sting in my eyes,
because I know, a strong girl never cries.
I begin to run, run from my fears.
But I am followed by my ever present tears.
I want to leave these familiar places,
leave behind all of these frequent faces.
But where will I go?
What will I do?
All I know is I have to get far away from you.
But something keeps me here,
crying one last tear.

I looked in his eyes with the greatest affection
and for once I thought my life was perfection
he never knew how much i cared
since i feelings were left unshared
dreams, thoughts, and sometimes cries
he never got how had i tried
tried to be good enough
but life is tough
the depression of this teenage girl
i looked in his eyes, my head in a swirl
i knew i wouldn't see those eyes anymore
he said his last words and walked out the door
i watched his car drive around the bend
see? all good things must come to an end.
I miss your hugs, i miss everything about you.
I miss the fact that we used to laugh about stupid crap...
I miss our friendship... i miss the old us...
The depression of this teenage girl is hard for her...
I'm not used to being depressed, i'm used to being a happy person..
But now i'm not.. I cared but that's fine..
I'll just go and keep my distance for a while...
I hope we can be friends...
Just friends...
Goodbye ...

My sadness overrides, my happiness, sometimes it goes away, other times it's here to stay.
Other days I can be as happy as a little kid getting candy, other days I can't even stop myself from crying.
I don't know what this could be, but I am scared of something hiding deep within.
I stay strong as long as I can, but I can't be strong, I'm weak and heartbroken.
Since you left us, it's been hard to stop playing the fun memories I have had with you growing up.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't wish I could have said "I love you Grandma." one last time.
When you left, you took apart of all us with you, you were my best friend, I don't why I am so torn.
I miss you more and more everyday, people say "I need to let go" But it's hard to let go when you lost your very first best friend.
You were my best friend. I miss you... I love you... Thank you for all the memories you left in my heart to think back on from a little kid to the very last day of your life.

Grandma, i love you so.
I know you're not doing good, but i still love you.
Even though you might forget who i am at times,
But you’re in the Mental Hospital.
It’s for a good reason, you need the help…
You’re getting worse and worse each day…
I love you Grandma
Stay strong.
At times at these, i am really glad i got put back into Therapy,
Because, now that i faced the reality of it, i know you’re not gonna be here much longer.
I love you so much, grandma.
Please don’t ever forget who i am…

Everynight, i start off feeling really tired.
But lately no matter how tired i get,
I can't seem to get any sleep...
I spend countless hours of countless nights,
Thinking...
Thinking of you, i say to myself at times-
Why haven't you left my mind, you left a month ago-
You use to say, you'll never be happy without me,
Right now, it shows i'm not happy.
But i'm happy, i'm just protecting myself from guys like you.
You always say "I love you."
Yeah, where is the actual feeling?
Why do you have to lie?
Why do you have to play games?
All of those thoughts and questions, and memories-
Cause my sleepless night-
Why can't you just not hurt me anymore?
Hurt someone else. Hurt the one who hurt you,
Not one who cared time after time...
Sleepless nights, i want sleep but you never leave my thoughts.
Why?
Everynight, i have headphones in blaring music in my ears, to drown the thought of you.
It's just the beginning,
Soon, the thought will no longer exist in my head.
