Ek Het Jou Lief

. . Nie deur aanraking nie .... Sonder 'n teken ... Net deur jou self te wees.
ek het jou onvoorwaardelik lief?

Nothing But Love

Nothing but love.

multifaceted in its structure
physical, emotional , intellectual and spiritual
the four being a prerequisite .
It's the all encompassing warmth
a complete understanding.
mind, body and soul in unison .
The joy of sharing one each other`s accomplishments
and in turn have a witness to your own proudest days.

The mystery of cherishing just that one person
The pure pleasure that comes from silent times
The willingness to love
and the capacity to be loved
as if the sun were warming both sides at once .
for a brief moment time stands still
and for that one night the stars allign
we found love.

A Winter Tale

A Winter tale.
oh Winter – how you often linger long,
what windswept elements you deal;
your cold dark chamber does my spirit feel.
your shivering grip of uncheerfull thoughts is strong.
and often in your shadows I belong -
a land of phantoms that appears often real.
But now a warm and gentle wind I feel,
and hear the choristers of the morning song,
foretelling Spring's arrival; I was wrong,
the morning of the year with beauty gleams,
and nature with a thousand words in seems.
Untruthful is the winter of the mind -
not like half remembered dreams I can find,
A verdant field I wander – quiet, still.
I keep the winter memory near
and sing in darkness - none will hear
A sweet sweet winters tale a girl leave.
and in this cold she no more breathe
till long life over I too depart,
to infinite nights a new start.

A Game of Chance

An open heart of wonder
an equal part of sorrow
if given life upon breathing
then life is worth living

as today follows through to tomorrow.
sadness will wake this holds true
and everything you dream of
lie but a heartbreak away

if given a chance
do dare take it
choices pose two ways
for life is mere a flip side of death

and even in the shadows, you will know
which or what to choose.
It`s just a game of chance, after all
life is fifty-fifty at best!…

Oh Jupiter

Oh jupiter
send me on my merry way
there where the creek lay
a troubled road will follow

a road that could better myself
I know not the change it will make
but it is a chance I have to take
even if it leads away from what I know

and when I reach the end
a willow tree will fall
and upon him I will call
to lend me a wheeping branch

Gewete

GEWETE.

Hoe jy nie in die lug bly hang nie
jou koue greep , harde hale

skielik hoor ek jou nog sag sag vir my vluister.

Emotional Tree

AN EMOTIONAL TREE

The gust came like punches.
one of those arresting, blustery blows.
It was like a giant stood behind that tree
cupping his hands over his mouth
blew as hard as he could.
Without mercy

blood shot almond-shaped leaves.
stood frozen
then making their slow, deliberative dance
toward the asphalt below
where they lay silently without notice
and a heart breaks.

Place Them On My Grave

lonesome art thou sitting here in the light
repent and wrath bears out the sound
far from the stars, close to thy moon
between here and there somwhere before long.

as words art not utterd in truth
thy crawl on the grave of perished aliveness
then thy sleep peacefully
let me not into shallow grounds

bears out the hurt in thys trembling heart
beyond a gaze into the sky , light fled thys sight.
find me then thee who talks upon my shame
place them on my grave, thou will not live in freedoms fate.

Yet I Have Two

A Hundred hands have held me
a Hundred hands have fed me
a Hundred hands have met me
yet I only have two .

a Hundred eyes have burned me
a Hundred eyes have turned me
a Hundred eyes have spurned me
yet I only have two

a Hundred feet have led me
a Hundred feet have sent me
a Hundred feet have left me
yet I only have two

a Hundred of everyone
a Hundred of everything
a Hundred down to two
i`m you

A Stranger

stranger
Yes me, I don`t hear it anymore
Aimlessly, hardly aware it was gone.
I tell you , listen ,please listen
oh do listen to me . . .
Iterclacing of the horror
Ever growing dark corners of my youth .
silence . . .
Dazzling display int`t it .
I hear it no more
The angry voices plunging me into a nightmare
ment for death and destruction
" no vacancy " it was written
All over the heart of a stranger .
or so i thought
It was a lost cause
Like the sun rising at night
A speeding bullet flew by
came to a stop in this heart
No magor damage
or so i thought.
Only one prayer send by
one caring heart, yes
one kind word expected by a friend,
recieved by a stranger.
when in the dark you lose
sight of love,
when quite time reach shore.
when laughter turns into crying.
when fears become a reallity.
i`ll keep this promise
i will be here.
Remember me, you will
remember me.
