Awake the Hip Hop Disciples

Where art thou hip hop chosen ones
I went around corners of the globe can't see you
Arise, shine and give us more music
The base you set was classic

Pac could say 'we still breathing'
I wonders what this is meaning
Perhaps you hiding somewhere
but fans misses you everywhere
Because you vanished without goodbye

Breath in silence those words of encouragement
Chant with the jubilant disciples
The Big Punisher you quite on your sleep
But your lyrics still run deep
into the vein of diehards

Biggy Smalls do you hear me?
I know you still the Big Poppa over there
For your lines didn't spare
unruly, malicious criticism
Sometimes your performance hypnotize me

How can I forget the great Nate Dogg?
The maestro whose golden voice
Could awake the sleeping dog
With that in mind 'I better lay low''
His legacy I ought to follow

Guru ' The Gangstarr' you smile when I mention you
Keep your head out of your mouth
Whilst the hero spits out
in his eternal sleep between the clouds

Leaving out left eye and Easy B counts this piece incomplete
'cause the relevant contribution still rocks
Airwaves furious without your voice
Fans at the downtown blocks
considers your presence a necessary vice

Peace, South Sudan

This is a plea piece for peace,
Peace for beloved south Sudan,
War against each other must cease,
That said and done,
Will put off humanitarian crisis,
My lines on this poem dancing,
to the rhythm of togetherness on a daily basis,
Interested parties has to stop financing,
Acts of animosity, atrocity
First World countries need to intervene,
Thousand are becoming victims of negative ethnicity,
Bring to an end war that's what I mean.

A Kiss From the Dark

She gave me a kiss from the dark
I was nervous and wanted to go the other way
What a lovely hotdog in the dark!
I felt my body will melt away

Kisses in the middle of the night
Going forth and plundering me slowly
It's a bird without flight
See how my body is shivering surely

A bright, recognizable face shone
Under the moonlight a gift lays
A newfound attraction has just been born
I bet this will erase memories of my solitude days

Her bewitching smile made me trance
hence my only catch flew
It's crystal clear before my fingers flipped the chance
A luck I unconsciously threw

I am waiting another day heaven may grant
because I yearn to meet her once again
I try to black it out but I can't
This feeling of mine I am unable to contain

On My Epitaph

On my epitaph don't write I was a saint,
When I actually know I ain't,
I was a vulture,
Disrespectful, refused to follow culture,
Write on my epitaph,
who I were not on my photograph,
Was up to no good,
Stereotype of an angel in disguise misunderstood.

On my epitaph don't make me clean,
My lease image on the TV screen,
is just superimpose above,
Underneath a true self could shove,
the goat-skin I wear,
I'm a villain I swear.

Was a subject of ridicule,
way back in school they thought I was a fool,
But when heaven opened its doors,
I became a darling the society adores,
Soon they will find out,
My demeanor will clout,
what the masses expected,
And in my graveside I will be rejected.

On my epitaph....

Dead Is Speaking

Whist! Enough of your insolence!
The dead have spoken
Has refused her casket even in presence
of high priests ready to present the token

 Token to appease the deceased
To lessen her mammoth of rage
And for the impending peril ceased
'cause no one is ready to pay sin's wage

But the kindred continue to anger
Bob, the younger son is called
As the mourners sensed danger
He knelt and begged

Corpse agreed to enter the casket
Hearse roared his way to funeral home
through the busy Rongo market
Tires burst! Where's Jerome?

He needs to speak to his dead mother
Hastily he rushed to her coffin
Mumbled something like his brother
And winked back to his cousin

Seemed another carriage ought to be brought
To finally carry the deceased to final resting
Where the clan will engage in deep thought
Because no room for time wasting

Those who behold the body
said it bite it's lips and point index finger
At the burial the mourners assemble at the lobby
None allowed to view the body so they linger

Papa

He toiled and moiled to put our needs on the table,
Never mind the job he wanted his kin stable,

Poppa was indubitably the best,
His generosity could clearly manifest,

I will proclaim to all and sundry,
That his legacy and integrity be potently,

Through out our lives we shall reminisce,
All the sacrifices that we now miss

Let the Toothless Dog Bark

Let the toothless dog bark
it wouldn't harm the shark
Because they continue to embezzle the fund
And crabbing public land
Dollar meant for developing the shanties
into reputable cities
Stole by rich becoming richer day by day
Poor languishing in poverty without pay
Urgent alarms for sobriety rings
See what lack of knowhow brings
If you know your Constitutional rights
It's about that time to fight
for what you deserve at the grassroot
Fairness be your prime pursuit

I Am Sleeping With the Ghost

I am sleeping with the ghost
Waging war on proper diction
Everything is lost - I miss my mind the most
''Tell me why your smile melt with confusion? ''
As she stares through me she said
My trembling foot on the precipice of indecision
Now I am trapped without aid
Tears rolling down while I am sitting in this chair
''Shut up! I know you don't like me '', she said
My heart in the fiery spiral of a vortex called despair

Let Me Be Your Love Song

Make me your love song,
A ballad of sweet, enduring and long,
Memories to unwind,
Through the dusk wind.

I will cheer you up,
With words of passion to recap,
your old lovely past,
the one you would wish to last.

The melody to take you to cloud nine,
Where golds of love is mine,
And the sweetest nectar from his kiss,
to overwhelm your heart with bliss.

I wanna be celebrated lines,
whose lyrics in the twilight shines,
Sailing with you to the haven,
Far away from jealously of men.

This Love Is Killing

It has taken a little time to unleash this feeling,
Contrarily, it will take a lifetime to erase it cause its enduring,

Sweet lady don't think i will leave this to hung on the balance
'Cause i wont live without your charming glance,

I only besiege heaven to help me accomplish ,
Before my adversaries' deals nourish,

Those sweet lips are killing mine,
If i could taste them i will be fine,

Was creator unfair?
When he created a pair,

These cute figures are menacing,
Men find themselves racing,

At least to snatch one,
But would get none
