I Shall Always Treasure You

For the person I am and the person you are
For the times we are together and the times we are apart
For the times we have cried and the times we have shared
For the times we have laughed and you showed me you cared
For the places we have traveled and the places we have seen
From the moment you proposed on a bended knee
For the honesty you have shown and the truth you have told
I know in my heart our love will never get old
For bringing out the sun on a most dreary day
For going to the doctors to see that everything will be okay
For the little notes and the little letters 
For letting me know things will always get better
I Shall Always Treasure you for so many things
And always be grateful you loved only me..

Behind every tear there is a story
Some are happy
Some are sad
Some are funny
And some are glad. . .
Some are healthy
Some are sick
Some are in pain
And some are in vain. . .

Daddy

I look to heavens and cry out in pain
Why couldn't you give us another day
There was so much to say
There was so much to do
There were so many things i wanted to prove
I know you are there to look over me
As i try to be the best for you to see
I miss you I need you I love you X's 3
I remember when you use to bounce me on your knee
I remember your smile
I remember your laugh
I remember your smell right after a bath
I can still hear your heartbeat ring in my ears
For i had heard it so many times over the years
I think of you often and speak of you alot
To pass on to my kids the things you have taught
I know you are happy and i know your pain free
And i know your looking over your lil girl thats me........

If I was an angel
I'd make all your wishes come true
But I'm not
I'm just human
And a woman in love with you
Would you, could you, hold me tight
As we looked at the moon and the starlight
Would you feel the swoon of your heart
As the darkness gave way to the lights start

Would you care for a woman who cared for you
Her hands making you happy not blue
Would you care for the specialties of life
That woman who could give you love not strife

I wrote your name in the sand
And the water washed it away
I wrote your name in the sky
And the wind blew it away

The Promise

I want to take you to places you've never been
Show you what it's like to ride the color of the wind
Wrap you in a world of love that only my heart can bring
Surround you with security that will make your heart sing
I want to do things with you that you have never done
Walk with you down paths that neither of us has won
Make your whole body tingle with just one glance
I will do things to you never read in any romance
I want to wrap my fingers all through your hair
I'll show how much love two hearts can share

Sea of Love

As we stroll hand in hand

Leaving our footprints in the sand

Under the stars in the clear night

As we kiss each other in the beautiful moonlight

The cool summer breeze as it flutters the trees

We sit on a blanket at the edge of the sea

As we watch the waves moving closer our way

Here in our hearts this will always be our day

We spoke with our hearts and sealed it with a kiss

Never again will we ever find a true love like this...

I love you because of your beautiful smile 

And your gorgeous eyes

I love you because of your amazing lips

And your "oh so sexy" style.

I love you because you're all I need

And because you make me feel needed

I love you because there's nowhere else I'd rather be

The Woman In Me

I sit here every day and look out the window
I know there is a whole world out there for me to see
And I wonder how I let him destroy the woman in me
As I stand here and see myself in the mirror
I hate my body I hate my hair I hate my face
I think they are all a big disgrace
He shattered my hopes
And stepped on my dreams
He even destroyed all my self-esteem
I find it hard to smile
And hard to laugh
Sometimes I don't even feel like taking a bath
Sometimes I wish I would just fade away
Just so I wont have to be like this for another day
I often think who will be next
Whose heart he'll rip right out of their chest
Someday it will end and I will be free
To go out and find the woman in me..

A Childs View

Why don't you love me
Why are you so mean
Why wont you let me be the child in me
Please don't be angry
Please don't be sad
But I have to be the person I really am
I'll do all my schoolwork
And I'll do all my chores
I'll even arrange my dresser drawers
I will make some mistakes
And I will stumble and fall
But I will pick myself up and stand there tall
Please don't hit me
Please don't scream
